In terms of marketing strategy, Apple does not aim to reach the mass as the general consumers but remain loyal to a certain ‘class’. Unlike other brands, it refuses to lower its price. Therefore, carrying an Apple product is like enrolling to that higher and trendy ‘class’. Another appealing feature of Apple ads is that it does not focus on new features but on the improvements of its old features, so it always offers an even better one. It makes the consumers more familiar with the products that they would not seek for another anymore in exchange of Apple.
Personally speaking, I am also loyal to this brand. What is fascinating about this brand is that consumers do not even have to be convinced by the advertisement of the new products the company would launch. Consumers just wait for it. The idea is that they are not selling the products but the brand and the status quo that this brand labels. Ironically, the marketing strategy of Apple products uses a language understandable to the commoners yet its price is not within the budget of a normal consumer.
