Extract of sample "Description of My Worst Accident"

Just before the junction, I noted a teenager on a stationary bicycle in a position to cross Hill road towards the avenue. I signaled to confirm his intention before I could cross the junction but he did not show any intention of crossing the road. As I reached the junction, however, the boy hurried in front of me and I ran over him because he was too close, knocking him to unconsciousness.

I stopped my car, called my parents, and then the police who arrived alongside passersby. I was then taken for questioning before my father bailed me out to await a hearing. I recommend that people be careful to accommodate possible bad intentions of other road users in order to avoid accidents (Krizan, Merrier, Logan, and Williams, p. 297).
