Memorandum Chief Executive Officer Director, Human Resources Awarding of Newsletter Project This latter is a request to the Chief Executive Officer, Compare Services, Inc., to approve a $15,000 budget towards Newsletter Project for the 2012 implementation allocation. At the preliminaries, the Human Resources are proposing that the newsletter should be developed as a Human Resources project. They are also proposing a total of $1500 to be given for this Newsletter Project newsletter. The proposed amount is to be used in the project expansion study that is to be done by a committee that shall to be appointed and named by the Director of Human Resources.
The committee is expected to meet at least four times in the remaining calendar year. The committee shall decide whether the newsletter will be a public relations tool or the employees’ information tool. Therefore, the committee’s worked is pegged on the approval of both the Director of Human Resources and the Chief Executive Officer of Compare Services, Inc.; additionally, before the committee decides on whether the newsletter should be a public relations device or an employee information tool, it will sought the same approval.
The determination of the newsletter production costs is the next step of the proposal. Of the $15,000 proposed:The largest share of the amount to be awarded for creation of the newsletter or 34 percent will be for production costs of including printing. 10 percent of the total will go into research and development expense. 33 percent of the totality will be needed for new equipment like a digital camera, PageMaker or Quark Express. Office space will be provided by using the space allocated to the Human Relations employee tasked with arranging and coordinating production of the newsletter.
This person will get $3400 over and above their current salary.
