Examsmananship and the Liberal Arts Education serves to impact on individuals in the sense that it enables one to make reasonable and informed choices and that any other benefit that may be accrued it merely considered incidental (Perry 35). William G. Perry in his essay, examsmanship and the liberal arts has described cow based on the assumption on that facts remain facts. He advances and says that the concept of hard work is substitute for the aspect of understanding (Perry 44). Perry also analyzes the situation that arises between the children and the teachers.

This he compares with the notorious activity in the lower levels of study when the children are made to recite words before the class; this he says jeopardizes the morale of the students who are not sure of the words they are made to read as they want to avoid making mistakes before the class (Perry 76).

This he says has made most of the children to associate reading books with other negatives and thus deem it as a way of punishment. In conclusion, Perry discusses the challenges the student and the teachers face in their endeavors to excel academically.
