Extract of sample "Why Abortion Is a Murder"

Almost all religions have forbidden abortion. In Bible, abortion has been forbidden considering it bloodshed; “They sacrificed their sons and their daughter to demons. They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood” (Psalm 106 cited in “Bible Answers”).

Thus, abortion should be condemned because it is prohibited in religion. Abortion is a very dangerous operation. It is very risky for the health of the mother. In extreme cases, the woman may expire while she is being operated upon. Therefore, legalizing abortion is not conducive to the health and safety of society. Government can inculcate safe sexual behaviors and habits in people by making abortion illegal. A lot of people maintain careless attitudes toward contraception because they know abortion is legal.
