Health care for all American To United s and the World Globally, health care remains a controversial issue. Proponents of the right to all American health care argue that not even a single individual in the richest nation on the planet should go without health care. With this respect, this essay will critically expound on the basic reasons as to why health care should be to all Americans. The US Constitution states the need for health care is an all American right however, in 1945, the Congress passed the McCarran-Ferguson Act that overrode the 1944 Supreme Court’s ruling over federal regulation of health insurance companies.

As a result, insurance companies became independent and non- subject to federal regulations. This meant that they could make anti-trust laws and the Act protected them from federal prosecution. As such, they are free to fix their own prices, rig bids, and carve out protected markets. Cognitively, today the cost of health care insurance is high and increasingly unaffordable even to working families. Arguably, across United Sates of America, there are many people on one end struggling to make both ends meet and on the other coping with a broken care system.

In addition, there are those who completely go without health care, others are striving to pay the hiking costs of Medicare, and more of them are joining the ranks of those uninsured. Agreeably, this is a shocking and terrible situation for super power like America! This growing health care crisis is not just a problem that should worry only the affected, but also places an endangering burden to the rest of the Americans as well. Furthermore, due to economic issues, small businesses are finding it difficult to insure their employees due to competitive and skyrocketing cost of insurance premiums.

Most worrisome, much of the funds spend on health care services disappears through inefficiency and massive waste. Even the United States tops the globe in health care expenditures. That is not all, medical errors result to the loss of lives of thousands of Americans every year. With that information in mind, truthfully, every one would agree that all Americans need health care support. Apart from an awful lot of waste as well as efficiency in the American health care system, it is time for Americans to have affordable and accessible health care.

However, in order to achieve affordable and accessible health care for all Americans, there are number reforms that need address. First, there need to be a plan that will build upon the strengths of the existing health care facilities. Moreover, health care system strengthening will modernize the US health care facilities and systems thus encouraging health care for all Americans. Second, by modernizing the health care system of United States will contain spiraling costs and subsequently improve patient quality care.

In so doing, health care will be available to all Americans since improved patient health care addresses the systems glaring weaknesses. Furthermore, in order to ensure health care for all Americans, there should be set measures that will promote prevention and strengthening of public health that will in turn prevent diseases and protect Americans against both natural and artificial disasters. If health care is considered a right for all American, millions of money will be saved giving every citizen access to health care.

Researcher have realized that lack of health care make individuals wait until it is too late to seek for treatment when their condition is worse and the required finances are hard to raise. With free health care, American people will be exposed to regular and preventive medical care, eventually having a better life hence livelonger. Having in mind that they use a lot of money as they seek for health care, then Americans will save money for other basic need and even luxuries if this basic requirement is a right to all citizens.

In summary, health care should be a right to all Americans and it is vital for America to set in place policies that will ensure affordable and accessible health coverage for all. Ensuring that, America will require policies that can build the current insurance system and leave Medicare intact for older and preferably physically challenged Americans. Obviously, providing health care for all Americans will lower the annual health care cost by a proficient margin, which will in turn aid in economic development and living standard improvement due to stabilized heath care.

Providing health care for all Americans is important since the brewing Congress debate on tax increment would cease. The purpose of the debate is to increase tax in order to make health care affordable and accessible to all Americans. Therefore, if the above stated reforms receive address, no tax increment and no American will go without health care.
