Drive Me Real Crazy Driving and Drinking always go together. They provide the greatest pleasure in life: heaven. Heaven takes away all the worries of a person including life. Such exaltation is enticing. It lures the individual to avail its fleeting pleasure. However, they have failed to realize that such heavenly feeling only means death. They say alcohol is dangerous to your health and driving under the influence of alcohol is dangerous. No matter how they twist the usage of alcohol, it is still alcohol: enticing, alluring, bedazzling. It entices the mind to drive towards the desires of life. They entice the mind to break the rules and to seek adventure. Such adventure is fun and it yields ethereal and satisfying result. The promiscuity of the drunkard towards reckless acts is inevitable. It has engulfed the individual to a vortex of happiness that will be taken away in a few moments and replaced by nirvana: the everlasting happiness of death. O how I wish that humans learn to appreciate life. Yes, they do appreciate life. But are they spending it worthwhile? Or are they spending it sassy? Life is a commodity. It has a price to pay. There are risks and safety guidelines implemented to safeguard life. The sad thing is that they happily violate their very own lives. They drive their way to hell. Alcohol allures the individual. The allurement gives them a reason to try out death-enticing stunts. I hope it is death-defying. Practically speaking, driving under the enchantment of alcohol is death defying. There is a desire to drive along wildly. They defy death only to meet death. Now, that is really death-defying. They are digging up their own grave. The alcohol invokes the goodness of an individual. It makes them curse responsibly. They are real people; real fools. They hate the red light because they see that it is green. They are not colour blind; they are really blind. Even if they have four eyes to see things, they only recognize one thing when they drive under the influence of alcohol: journey to happiness. Such happiness is futile. It gives recourse that life is something worth wasting. They do not appreciate that life is a journey just like driving. Life’s possibilities are endless. However, the difference lies on how life ends when the spell of alcohol enters the mind. It enhances the consciousness. It invokes a deathly realization. It welcomes death. The bedazzling nature of alcohol gives drivers reason to defy. They accept the prescribed norms and initiates accordance to rules. They drive responsibly upon reaching their grave. It is too late for them to realize when they wake up inside their coffins; crying happily while reflecting their conditions. The question is, can they still reflect inside their graves or are they sleeping eternally? The question is obvious and the answer is very easy to find. It no longer requires critical thinking. Yes, they can still reflect. That is if they can. It is a frustrating view to see ghost haunting the driveway. Cases have been recorded. Happiness has been buried six-feet under. Their lives have entered the afterlife phase. Is there such thing? Or is it imaginary? It is not my burden to prove if such concept exists. I am sure of one thing. The very good drivers find their way to heaven even though the travel to that nirvana requires bloodshed. We do not want lives to be lost. That is a neglected truth. However, the individual, based on his actions, is the one who looks for avenues for him to be at risk. The truth is always. They just realize its relevance when things are going smooth. Furthermore, the warnings about the dangers of drinking under the influence have been shown constantly. It is just that people are sympathetic not to care at all. Well, alcohol is sure addictive. People just love to take it into moderation and they end up so groggy that yield splendid things. The magic of alcohol is weak. People just let this weakness of alcohol get into them. Driving under the influence of alcohol may be an isolated case about the enchantments about the several harsh effects of drinking. Irresponsibility is the precautionary measure. Unawareness is also another tool to understand the harsh detriments posed by it. Blame the law, blame the police, blame the condition, and blame life yet in the end, it boils down to a realization that drinkers do not blame themselves about what has been the result of their good-doings. I find that a very smart way to handle drunken drivers. How can we solve the problem of these drunken monkeys? Why do not we try to confine them in a mental hospital to cure their sanity? Their sanity is at a very abnormal level. They insist that they will be safe when they drive but they cannot really drive. They will receive psychiatric therapy that will make them understand that drinking while driving is just a normal thing to do. Send them to a heavenly rehab will be a good option too. That will cure their normal addiction with gulping alcohol and their responsible driving mind-set backed-up by their perfectly normal sanity. Once they are done with their therapeutic session inside the heavenly rehab, these drunken monkeys are now ready to face their God. Now, that is paradise. People do not just need to understand the relevance of taking responsibilities. They need to prioritize safety and order. Alcohol is good but there should be no substance abuse. Drinking and Driving must be taken separately; not simultaneously. Being responsible and assessing consequences prevent the dangers of driving under influence of alcohol. Read More
