From among the 50 careers listed within criminal justice and law enforcement careers (Criminal Justice Profiles, 2011), an interesting and challenging option I have chosen is to become an agent for Homeland Security, the department whose primarily aim is to “to secure the nation from the many threats we face” (Dept. of Homeland Security, 2011, par. 1).
