An individual whose wisdom of experience and/or thinking has shaped your world view about life:One person who has changed my world view about life is none other than my own mother, Luz colon. She had moved from her homeland Puerto Rico to United States when she was only 15 years old. One year after that, she got married, and had her first son at the age of 18. She has had a total of five children. It was indeed, very difficult for her to settle into a new land at such a young age and then get married, have children and also continue with her studies along with all this.

After high school, she got admission in college. I am her eldest daughter. I remember when she told me to do home work, she did her own as well. That would motivate me to work because I saw my mother working. As her finals neared, she was about to have her second baby. I can not image how hard it would have been for her to manage all this while she had to prepare for her exams, though she did it. Just one day after she gave birth to my brother, she gave her exam. Her result spoke of her unusual talent and good management skills.

She had secured a distinction and was awarded a gold medal. My mother is my biggest source of inspiration. She has taught me the lesson that everything is possible in life. All it takes is determination and will power. If there is one person on Earth I would like to be like, it is my mother.
