Suppliers should provide labels on chemicals and each chemical should have a document describing its properties, hazards, and proper handling. Employees should be trained to know hazardous chemicals and how to protect themselves against physical or health hazards. This source differs from the book A Guide for Safety And Loss Prevention Professionals in that the latter focuses more on the legal aspects of hazard communication, while the former emphasizes on safety maintenance at the workplace.
