In the design of the control, circuit analysis was made on the principle sub-circuit building door and afterward the construction of the circuit to control the door opening and closing automatically.

The stamp board was designed for performing calculations of the behaviors at the steady state of the circuit and also the response of the circuits to alternating current (AC) i.e. signal disparity from in the sinusoidal state (quiescent).
In this design of the circuit, the calculation was done based on the theoretical and experimental values obtained.

The simulators helped in solving the merits and demerits that could be experienced in producing the circuit diagram.

In general, it could be easy to simulate the circuit in an easy way than when building it as it is always done on the breadboard.

The Pspice gives both analog and digital access software to simulate the circuit for use as a control for automatic door opening and closing.

The distinct amplifier was used in the circuit to provide the basis for signals and controlling of signals i.e. on and off operation of the signals to the door.
Principles of the circuit

The circuit design operates on the fundamental principle of the movement of the signal within a confined circuit.

The circuit was designed to be sensitive within the range of 100 cm. At a distance of 100 cm, the signal breaks when the person is at that distance, and the door opens automatically.
When the person is at a distance of 100 away from the door, the signal becomes complete, and the door closes automatically (Bowick 2008).
When there is a signal breaker within a distance of 100 cm, for example, a person the door shall remain open until the person moves at a distance of 100 cm away from the door.
Based on the signal flow, when the signal is cut off as in this case the door opens automatically and when the signals flow, the door closes automatically.
Project Challenge

Based on the rush always experienced by many busy people when they come near the door, it is time-wasting and hectic to open the door since the door sometimes becomes heavy to push and open.

The need to get an option to the problem is essential so that there is no need to push the door and go in or move out but rather design a circuit that uses the signal breaks it for the door to open and close automatically without wasting time and energy (Bowick 2008).
Design

The output of the AC was within the range of 0 – 1000 ohms and was connected to 1200 ohm resistors.

In the design, the opening and closing of the door will be simulated by the servo.

The design was made in such a way that the yellow LED flashes yellow light to give a warning when a person is within 100 cm.

When someone else wants to enter, the door can reopen when it was closed, and the green LED can flash again showing the person that it is opening.

When the door is closing the Red LED indicates the red light showing that it is closing and when the person wants to go in or out a green LED flashes indicating that it is opening.

The distance is going to be measured by the ping sensor that will be used to determine the distance of the stamp board's strength.

The push buttons shall be used as the reset button and as the kill switch and for the operation to resume the kill switch is pushed again.

The LEDs shall be supported by;

  1. Push button with two resistors
  2. Ping sensor
  3. Servo
  4. Green LED
  5. Yellow LED
  6. Red LED

From the calculation and the theory values, the current needed to run the circuit is suitable, and it does not have a lot of power to run it.
The resistance of the circuit to current flow was, however, adequate to protect it from excessive current during the time of maximum use of the circuit.

The voltage supply needed to run the circuit is appropriate as seen from the table, and this circuit is worthy to be used in operating the door.

The test result of the suitability of the circuit shows that the circuit can work at a distance of 120 cm though its strength is high and a distance of 100 cm.
