The filter our group built was ……………………………………………When the filter was tested, the layer order was ………………….. The turbidity value before the test was found to be ……………………. Whereas the value after the test was found to be ………………………Something I learned from the group which I might not have learned on my own was group dynamics.

Only after one works in a group setting is one able to realize the importance and role of such phenomena as groupthink and time management in achieving goal as a group. Besides, I learned the concepts in depth from my group member which would have taken me a lot more time to do independently. I taught the group how to develop formulae and functions in MS Excel. I have good knowledge of developing functions in MS Excel and they proved handy in calculating the values. One practical change that the group could have made which would have resulted in an improved filter design is to boil the water for 45 minutes after placing sand, activated carbon, and gravel in it.

We boiled them only for 20 minutes.
