Letter to the audience
Dear Sir/Madam
The ASU School of Business has had plans to incorporate a scholarship fund in its operations targeted at bright, talented and needy students. This plan will benefit children from needy backgrounds whose dreams are on verge of being extinguished for lack of money to pursue their dreams. At ASU, our steadfast commitment to academic excellence and inclusivity has led us to come up with the nation’s most innovative business programs. This scholarship fund will thus be in line with the values and mission of our parent university, the Arizona State University. We seek to include bright, talented but needy students in our academic programs as a way of making education not remain a privilege but a right to the deserving.
Your presence at the fundraiser is more than appreciated. Gracing the event will make you part of a historic event that will seek to raise the initial scholarship seed fund that is bound to grow in size and benefit thousands of bright students for decades to come. Since some of you are alumni of the school of business, you are aware of the benefits and joy of being a student at the ASU. The guest of honor is Ira A. Fulton, the founder of Fulton homes and an alumnus of the ASU School of business. The list of the fundraisers will be preserved at the university and displayed for future generations of university students to acquaint themselves with. Your kind gesture will not go unrewarded.
We hope you enjoy the function and become frequent visitors to the campus to check on any new developments and the students’ welfare.
Best Regards

Overview
The ASU School of business is also referred to as the W.P. Carey School of Business The school offers the following departments as well s concentrations: finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, marketing, leadership, management information systems, operations/production management, logistics/supply chain management, and sports business (Arizona State University (Carey), 2017). The school is one of the biggest business schools on the U.S. with over 300 faculty and 1,900 graduate students. Students at the school have four options for eventually earning their MBA on full-time or part-time schedule. Even though W.P. Carey School of Business is large, most of its full-time MBA courses record admits fewer than 45 students so as to promote interactive discussions on topics being learnt (Arizona State University (Carey), 2017).
Being one of the biggest schools of business in the U.S. also means that the school has an impressive alumni base. Records show that the school has over 60,000 graduates working at various capacities across the globe (Arizona State University (Carey), 2017). Apart from the fundraiser’s guest of honor, other notable alumni include Martin Quintana, the COO of Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. a nonprofit community development organization, Lary Seay, CFO as well as Finance Vice President for Meritage Homes Corp, a real estate development company and finally Kevin Hanigan who is the president and COO of Guaranty Financial Group (Arizona State University (Carey), 2017).
The ASU School of business has contributed immensely in the field of business not only in the U.S. but across the globe as well. Setting up a scholarship fund will further broaden the school’s outreach program allowing it to tap the next business leader who many otherwise not have a chance due to the punitive fees required to become one of us. The intended target for the fundraiser is $500,000 to set off the scholarship fund for the bright.
