 Admission Essay Name: University: Essay 1 Apparently, I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Business Administration in Alabama. However, three month ago, I moved to Arizona after I secured a job as a Communication Agent at Four Seasons Resort where I have the responsibility of ensuring that all communication channels operate flawlessly, provide general information about the company, assist callers and also respond to emergencies. Nevertheless, I am still interested in achieving the highest graduate level education. As such, my thorough research has led me to WP Carey as one of the reputable institutions where I can pursue my Masters of Science in Finance Program. Additionally, I have chosen to apply now since I can juggle between my occupation and the Masters’ program comfortably. I believe that the Masters’ program will increase my wealth of knowledge especially now that I have a strong background in Business Administration. In light of this, I anticipate that once I join this reputable university, I will be in a better position to work on more challenging assignment in my current occupation, and any other future endeavor. My advocacy in life as a woman is to use my wealth of knowledge to make this world a better place to live in a unique way. Essay 2 After I attained 18 years of age, I moved to the United States where I got admitted in an exchange program at the Jacksonville State University. During the exchange program, I lived in a cultural exchange house, where I was expected to interact through learning, sharing and living as a community with people from 40 different countries. As a result, I enrolled for classes of language courses in French, Arabic, and English, which I am currently fluent in writing, reading, and speaking. Similarly, I attended three different summer internships during the exchange program. In mid 2011, I worked in Mattelicom in Rabat, Morocco where I gained administrative experience, and problem solving skills. Moreover, I held the position of Database Management Assistant for a substantial period of time. In 2012, I worked at SAGAR Inc, where I acted as an Employees Schedule Coordinator, responsible for checking inventory, filing confidential company documents and assisting in Financial Office Paper work. In 2013, I worked at ROMAS Inc as a financial office paper work assistant. In addition, I worked as a student worker at the University where I advanced my experience in administration and account. I also worked with Talisma and AccountMate. My competence goes further into advanced knowledge in Data base management, extensive knowledge in internet applications, and excellent troubleshooting skills in complex software and hardware challenges. Also, I am privileged to have sound knowledge in Programing skills such as Python, C++, Java, HTML, CSS, SQL and COBOL. Throughout these experiences, I will comfortably pursue this program since a large percentage of the experiences are basics in the forth coming program, which makes it easier to handle challenges associated with the program. Essay 3 My origin is Morocco, and I speak three different languages. Essentially, I learnt English on my own without going through an English Language Institute. In high school, I did a Physics major where I graduated with honors. Besides, I took several math classes, which aided me to attain the highest score in the entire University. I have participated at the Model Arab League (MAL) in Club of Jacksonville State University where I was voted as the Secretary. I acted as the Vice Chair in the Environmental Committee of the MAL, Converse University South Carolina, and I have also been an International Student Organization Member at Jacksonville State University between 2012 and 2013 among other community activities. Needless to mention, I adapt very swiftly to changes, welcome challenges, and strive to make all the stakeholders successful. Additionally, I am a self motivated individual, who is result-driven in all situations that might be presented to me. Essay 4 In reference to the quantitative course work that revolves around the finance curriculum, I have numerous courseworks at hand. To begin with, I attained an average of grade A, which is equivalent to 4.0 GPA in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Managerial Accounting and Financial Accounting. In terms of Calculus and its applications, I have sound knowledge in differentials and integral calculus with business applications, functions of several variables, partial derivatives with business applications, Lagrange Multipliers, and multiple integration. Moreover, I am also conversant with Applied Probability & Statistics. This provides a summary of introductory probability and statistics centered on data analysis examples and computer simulations. This includes discrete and continuous probability distributions, estimation and hypothesis testing. Similarly, I have knowledge on discrete computational structure, which revolves around introduction to concepts, terminology and manipulative skills associated with combinatorial structures and logic. It also incorporates sets and functions, partially ordered sets, trees and graphs, algorithms and induction. There is Boolean algebra and introduction to symbolic logic. Finally, I have sound knowledge in database systems where there are concepts and terminology associated with data structure, file organization, access methods, packaged systems, and database design and database systems.
