Learning style: This essay is primarily based on a profoundly important topic related to the field of education, which is learning modules. It has always been a matter of serious nature among the educationists all around the globe to develop such pedagogical strategies, that would greatly facilitate the students in acquiring various learning opportunities. The whole scenario and style of learning can be changed by seriously scrutinizing and applying the most important learning modules in all the educational setups. The most crucial point is that the teachers should not only frantically try to make the students gain acquisition of different learning modules, rather they should take care to notice whether such modules are actually aligned with the learning styles of the students or not. This is the general consensus among all the eminent educationists that a learning module can be either extremely complex to work with or quite easy enough to comprehend. Learning modules can be developed in the students using various effective computer-based technologies like the use of CD-ROM and softwares, that can greatly facilitate the audience in gaining control on the learning opportunities. Such modules deeply examine all the aspects of the learning and then organize all the individual elements to build up a learning structure that can convey all the educational concepts to the learners. There is increased cultural diversity seen in schools and colleges these days, and some learning modules can really help the foreign language learners in grasping the course details. There are many modules currently available to be followed by the teachers to meet the demands of the English language learners. Such learning strategies greatly facilitate both teachers and parents to maximize the learning outcomes from the students. Differing cultural and racial backgrounds form a major obstacle in the path of learning and if effective computer-based modules like the use of riveting power-point presentations, learning softwares, and visual technologies are used, learning can be greatly enhanced. English Language Learning Progressions (ELLP) form a very effective module for helping the English language learners in gaining control on the foreign language without having to deal with various social and academic problems in schools and colleges. Very important decisions have to be first made by the teachers in order to satisfactorily work with this learning module later. Such decisions include whether or not the teachers and supervisors should rely on the reading and writing standards in order to report or record the students’ progress in language learning, and which tools should be preferably used by the teachers to communicate with the students’ parents for reporting them about their children’s learning outcomes. All the sections of such modules basically focus on meeting the individual demands of the foreign language learners and so, they should be applied in all the classrooms for building a fruitful learning environment. This learning module is primarily based on facilitating the foreign language learners and so, the strategy of this module outlines the importance of carefully identifying and analyzing the deficiencies of the students and problems encountered by them. No proper or significant improvement can be brought in the students’ learning aptitudes, if teachers are not themselves familiar with the learning deficiencies of the students. This is a matter of profound importance that unfortunately, often goes unnoticed in most of the educational setups with the result that majority of the students fail to grasp the basic informative guidelines of various academic courses. If such learning modules are given primary importance by the teachers, a revolutionary change can be brought in the field of education by modifying the learning styles of the students. After getting acquainted with the learning problems faced by the students, this learning module suggests that the teachers think about ways to meet the deficiencies of the students and requires them to use effective tools like audio visual technologies and reflective questions for enhancing the students’ motivational skills and making them engage in the learning processes more vigorously than before. Different softwares are being used increasingly in different educational setups to improve the communicational skills in both teachers and students. No learning module can be effectively applied in any classroom if there does not exist any proper communication between the teachers and students. This learning module suggests that there should be appreciable communication between teachers and students because without this step, this module cannot be used by the teachers as it is intended to be used. Instructional software is one such technology that can significantly aid the learning modules for being used by the teachers by improving the communicational skills. This learning module also requires the teachers to make use of test and survey tools, and video conferencing in the classrooms, so that the most eminent experts could be brought in the classrooms for answering various queries of the students. This learning module complied with my learning style to a significant extent, because I have been always used to gain familiarity with different learning processes by actively participating in every activity offered by the teachers in the classrooms. This learning module, as already mentioned, lays emphasis on active communication between teachers and students, and it requires both parties to be actively involved with each other for proper identification and sorting out of various academic and learning problems. I, on my part, especially found this learning module and the teaching strategy offered by it to be extremely effective because it visibly respected and purposefully modified each student’s individual learning style, while removing any expected social and cultural biases in the classroom. Such assessment tools were used in accordance with this learning module in the classroom in such a way that every student, including me, easily got acknowledged with our respective learning deficiencies. In addition to identifying the major learning outcome, this learning module also helped our teachers in identifying the learning opportunities for us, so that we could take advantage of them during the academic session.
