Planning for Alignment and Development of Knowledge and Skills Affiliation Planning for Alignment and Development of Knowledge and Skills The responsibility of the tutor is based on how well they provide accurate learning environments for leaners, and at the same time align their strategies to state and curriculum requirements. Considering that not all leaners have similar learning abilities, tutor should identify the differences and develop individualized approaches to learning (Jennings, 2009).
Firstly, the tutor education may develop an individual education program. The tutor firstly acquire information on the education level of the identified student. The tutor then develops goals and objective based on local and state educational standards. An appropriate learning environment for the student is then determined. The tutor should then seek the aid for more advanced of special personnel. Additional accommodation such as technologies should also be implemented in the learning process (Jennings, 2009).
The tutor lastly identifies assessments tools that are suitable for the student. The second strategy the tutor is to plan a unit of instruction. This is done by the use of the individual education program developed. The tutor should first list the instructional objectives and goals based on educational standards and individual educational needs. To measure the effectiveness of the instruction unit, the tutor should develop continuous assessment tests. The process should involve technology in both instruction and assessment strategies (Jennings, 2009).
From the arguments presented, it is accurate to assert that tutor can effectively develop individualized learning program by the creation of individual education programs and planning instructional units.
