The students who are surviving with these types of disabilities will get benefited from these special types of education. These students are provided with additional education services, which require different types of technology specially adopted for teaching area or a resource room, which helps in providing different approaches of teaching (British Columbia Ministry of Education, 2013). The objective of the study is to describe about the various aspects of special education. The other aim of the study is to describe about the curricular adoptions for the students who are receiving the special educational services. The main purpose of the study is to establish the effective developmental techniques and process for establishing special educational need for students. Function of the Special Education The special education is a mechanism, which refers as a social and educational service that has been provided by the some schools and educational institution. The purpose of special education is to provide pleasant atmosphere for effective education to all the students who are disable. The main purpose of special education is to empower the impartial participation of those students who want special need and attention for better development and societal standard. The special need education services are available for those students who are deaf and dump and having mental and physical disability and many more. As per the “Education for All Handicapped Children Act” (EHCA) students with special needs have to be provided with a “Free and Appropriate Public Education” (FAPE). This particular educational policy includes a wide-ranging screening and diagnosis by a multi-disciplinary team. Another purpose of the special education is to framework the academic and behavioral goals and develops the annual Individualize Educational Plan (IEP). The “Individuals with Disabilities Education Act” has been enlarging the service of special education with the instruction that all the disable children have the right to get the FAPE in the minimum obstructive environment. It also refers that children with the disability have the privileges to learn with non-disabled children in general classroom settings (Florida Developmental Disabilities Council, Inc., 2003). This aspect is crucial for the development of children to a considerable extent for a better future. Developmental Process of the Various Curricular Adoptions The special education system should have an effective curriculum process for teaching the students with special needs for a better understanding. The curricular adoption is important for developing the study, learning and teaching resources, lesson plans and improvement in teachers’ education for more effectiveness. The curricular adoption is important for the teachers and well as for the parents who are having disable children. There are some strategies for developing the curricular process for special education. The factors which will be helpful in the development of the curricular process includes adaption of the right environment, creating the culture of the study, managing the scares resources, team management and providing proper accommodation to the students having the disability (British Columbia Ministry of Education, 2013) . Therefore, it can be stated that for the development of special education adoption of curricular is important. Parents have the right to take part in the meetings and get involved in the discussion for improving IEP and educational placement for their children. Teachers and parents should reduce the barriers and come in to a collaborative function for improvising the technique of special education for the betterment of the special child. By the participation in the school meeting with the teachers, parents get to learn about the strategies of providing their children proper comfortable atmosphere in the home. This collaboration of parents and teachers are important for the proper educational aspect of the special child. Schools have the responsibility to provide all the accurate information about the children to their respective parents. The school staff should provide with a handout off all curriculum activities, for proper knowledge (British Columbia Ministry of Education, 2013). Proper Accommodation Accommodation services have been provided to children to overcome their disabilities, which are creating the barrier in educational process. Students who need special education face several difficulties regarding reading and learning process. To overcome those difficulties teacher should guide them properly with patience and time. Teachers should highlight the important concepts for the students for better understanding and for their effective learning. Students should be provided with a study guide, which they will need to follow at the time of self-study. The books, which have been written in simple languages, will be helpful for the students for understanding the main concept of the topic in a better comprehensive manner. Video and tape recording are also helpful for the learning process of the children who are having the disabilities, as this aspect will help them to adopt faster (British Columbia Ministry of Education, 2013).
