Some learning institutions tend to return the plan for the design for some of the stages to be reconsidered. From the studies, some teachers in the district schools felt the need to reconsider some of the stages and thus this was looked at by the curriculum committee (Wiles & Bondi, 2004).

Question 2
The studies and the goals of designing a curriculum for a school are many. School experience is expected to be able to foster socially and healthy responsible behaviors among all students as they gear up to become adults. A school system is required to prepare the students for future work, how to be good citizens, and also how to cope with their daily lives. This clearly shows that designing and developing a school curriculum is a significant aspect of the student learning experience. Therefore, there is a lot that is expected from a curriculum. From the study, schools are supposed to have some considerations like medical, safety, economic, and custodial that should be related to a curriculum (Wiles & Bondi, 2004).

Based on the study one of the major constraints that leads to a lack of attainment of the curriculum goals is the factor of having less time to design a curriculum. Lack of sufficient time for designing and instructing a curriculum is very crucial for district schools and any other learning institution. Based on the present situation regarding education, the curriculum has been known to serve more goals with only a few having to be eliminated. Acknowledgment of this issue leads to a lot of conflicts based on some of the goals. It is seen that some goals in a curriculum ought to be given up if others need to be met. A danger always arises when the members of a committee have to come up with a delineation of some of the goals. In the study, a conflict came up among the teachers when the curriculum committee had to delineate some of the goals(Wiles & Bondi, 2004).

The main structural feature that should be maintained in designing a curriculum is that of distribution of the core studies as well as the electives. Based on the studies, the core components of a good curriculum are those that enable the students to participate. However, this is not restricted to a specific venue where they can be able to access the common learning goals. On the other hand, a well-formulated set of electives can be provided for various groups of students to achieve the same learning goals while based in different contexts(Wiles & Bondi, 2004).

Based on the studies district schools and other learning institutions need to be able to design a curriculum that best suits their environment. All goals stated in a curriculum design should be attainable and none of the goals should be prioritized at the expense of another goal. Designing and developing a curriculum are regarded as important steps in the school process.
