Methods of Research Answer Sheet for HD6 My Answer to Question Inferential statistics is essential as a use method for research on population and various events. This is because it is tedious and close to impossible to research each member in the population or to survey each event. This is it is preferable to use inferential statistics where the researchers get representative samples and use them as proof to base their claims on which is easier and convenient.Answer to Question 2:Level of significance mean the level in a statistical research that show how likely a result is due to chance i.e. it is the most common level that shows how much something is good enough to be believedAnswer to Question 3: Type I error means the incorrect refusal of a true null hypothesis.

Type II error means the failure to reject a false null hypothesis. Answer to Question 4:Effect sizes gives information that might be expected on the size of the effect. This is useful in the essence of the effect of a study or research not just explaining what the study is about.Answer to Question 5: Non-parametric methods make fewer assumptions; this shows why their applicability is more than the other parametric methods. They can be used in situations in which the purpose being researched has little information (Kothari, 2005).

Non-parametric methods are simple. They are easier to use but are still robust, they leave less room for misunderstanding and use which is improper. Answer to Question 6: Use of predictive values can be used in this case to get almost exact values. Answer to Question 7: The teacher will use inferential statistical procedures. This means that the teacher will collect some students from each group and use them as a sample for the study and not necessarily the whole group (Kothari, 2005).Answer to Question 8:The Discussion section helps in the revisit of the main concepts of interest to the researcher, and how he or she addressed the questions it also shows how the findings supported the ideas.

The discussion also allows the researcher speculates on what he or she thinks the data is stating. In the method and results sections of the research, the presentation is limited to the project. In the Discussion part, the researcher makes what is like a conversation with the reader about the ideas.Answer to Question 9:There is the fact section, the problem section then the solution sectionAnswer to Question 10:Critical research consumers read about and understand investigations on research. They determine of how much value the obtained data is.

They also determine how adequate the research design is and if any other explanation exists for the obtained results. They also assess how adequate the conclusions areReferenceKothari, C. R. (2005). Research methodology: Methods & techniques. New Delhi: New Age International (P) Ltd.
