PI Comparative Case Study The education system has been an essential part in the development of the country as it is extremely difficult for one to build a career without at least some basic knowledge, which is achieved through the high school curriculum provided free of charge by the government. However, there are a number of schools that have not been performing to their full potential and the introduction of the PI program has helped solved this particular problem. This program has still not been established as the solution to poor performing schools and research needs to be conducted to establish if it is the answer to the problems that face poor performing students.

The best research that can be applied to this issue is the application of comparative case studies. The classic experimental design would be the best design to apply in this case considering one has to determine the advantages and disadvantages of using the PI program in under performing schools (Klaus & Oscar, 2008).Using comparative case studies allows the researcher to establish the main differences between schools that use the PI program and those that do not. Using one school that does not have the PI program and one that does, a researcher is able to determine the environments that both schools function in and thus they are able to locate the issues that need to be looked at in terms of improving students’ performances in their academics (Klaus & Oscar, 2008).
