Extract of sample "Letter to Next Year's Class"

In a lot of classes at school you never really get to know the people you go to class with every day. One thing that I didn't especially enjoy was how short the class was. Some people might have felt the class length was a little bit longer, but I felt we didn't get quite enough class time. What I would have preferred was more lectures, more group activities, and more class time. I just found things so stimulating that I always left the classroom wanting more. It takes time to really be introduced to a subject matter and it takes time to wind down a class.

In the end, I felt we didn't have enough in the middle, doing the learning and the reading we needed to truly become masters of this subject. However, I definitely learned the skills to improve my knowledge of the subject in my spare time. All in all, I am sure you will enjoy your time in this class!
