?Goal ment My is Fahad Mohammed Aljabr and the purpose for selecting a Doctorate Degree in conflict analysis and resolution is to expound my skills and work experience for a better career path. I especially want to expand my research interests which are terrorism, political ideologies, democracy in the third world countries, and human trafficking just to name a few. I feel the importance of gaining skills in conflict analysis and resolution is crucial to developing self-actualization in conflict resolution in both the public and private sectors. I comprehend the need of increasing my conflict resolution reliability on the people I will be serving in my career. I will comprehend a close connection between facts of theory and practical process of conflict resolution. Indeed, this will be fundamental in making me a competent individual in the field of political science. My outlook on education is remarkable as I intend to develop skills and work experience for a better career path. I am willing to help my future employer in achieving goals and overcoming competition and challenges. My understanding in political parties, terrorism issues, and developing relationships fuels the desire to further my studies in the field of conflict management as I obtain a background in the area of conflict resolution. A real career in political science cannot be built until one understands the process of conflict resolution that will give me insights on the steps required to reduce conflicts that befall organizations and humanity. My professional plans are to expand my knowledge and methods of conflict resolution that is imperative in becoming a lasting learner and solution maker in my area of professionalism. My relevant experiences in the field of conflict analysis are notable as I am qualified in developing relationships and handling real situations that demand one to be equipped with knowledge of conflict resolution. My education background majors in international relations. I joined Findlay University in May 2010 for a bachelor degree in political science with a minor in international relations. This was prior to joining Webster University, USA in July 2012 for a master degree in international relations. While studying, my interests on conflict resolution became more revealing in that conflict analysis captured my interests. I discovered that conflict resolution and analysis was an interdisciplinary study, as it is the foundation of international relation. Understanding conflict management is fundamental in enhancing a mutual understanding. This knowledge created a strong urge to learn more on the subject, as I believed it would make a proficient individual in my professionalism. After joining the two universities, I felt the need to acquire practical experience in the leading institute in conflict analysis and George Mason University captured my attention. The summary of my qualification indicates my strong will to pursue the conflict resolution program. Some of my qualifications include political skills, understanding political parties, research in terrorism issues, developing relationships, and political debates. I am also fluent in foreign languages such as English and Arabic in reading, speaking and overall my writing skills are exceptional. I am skilled in computer skills on Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Excel, and websites administration. These skills create a room to be a competent individual in the 21st Century where technology is the driving tool. I have loved every opportunity of my life particularly in my work experience. My knowledge in international relations increased while working in an international Food Restaurant in Dammam, Saudi Arabia in 2004 as a business owner. I was lucky to interact with different people, conduct analysis of public relation for effective customer services, and solve different problems and conflicts in the organization. This was prior to my work experience from 2002 to 2006 as a Supervisor Assistant in the National Petrochemical Company in Tasnee. The two work experiences create a strong foundation to articulate what it takes to tolerate different personalities. While working, conflict resolution was the worst problem I encountered as I lacked skills and steps required in conflict management. When conflicts emerged, I practically worked hard towards developing relationships instead of working diligently in managing conflicts. Therefore, I strongly believe that pursuing the doctorate in conflict resolution will improve my knowledge in conflict management thus improves my skills towards my career path. I wish to do a doctoral study and research on terrorism, comparative politics, political philosophy, international law security, democracy in the third world countries, and human trafficking. These interests have been influenced by my prior education in an international relations course that seeks to limit armed conflicts and set standards of human rights. Topics in international relations varied from international politics, international relations and human rights, international variance and collaboration, to terrorism. Carrying out researches on the mentioned areas will deepen my knowledge on international relation as I become equipped with exceptional skills of conflict resolution that are mandatory in my field of professionalism. I am considering a research in the academic setting and information on conflict resolution important in evaluating my motivation to study and conduct a research at the doctoral level. This will expand my knowledge on my previous education achievement and work experience relating to my field. I strongly feel, it will be imperative to comprehend the required resources on conflict resolution in upper level of doctorate. Because of these, I am familiar with the international relation that motivates to further conduct a research at the doctorate level.
