The paper "Exploring User Acceptance of NFC Mobile Payment Service" is a great example of a research paper on e-commerce. Convenience is a factor that each and every person strives to attain. In the contemporary world, where internet technology has undergone rapid development thereby easing the work of the majority of the world population, people have started to expect even more from these developments. In previous decades, people had to purchase goods by being present in person and paying in cash or by handwritten cheque.

In the case of high-priced goods, people had to carry a lot of cash, which often used to become inconvenient as cheques were not accepted in several places. This method was gradually replaced by debit or credit card payment, which almost made the cash or cheque payment methods obsolete. Thereafter, the trend of online shopping came into being and individuals started buying online with the help of the internet banking system. With such outstanding developments, people started expecting more out of this rapidly shifting system.

Over the years, mobile devices have become increasingly important since the past 10 years. For a lot of people, a day without a mobile phone is unimaginable. Together with the key and the wallet, a mobile phone is one of the three most important things to bring when people are going out. According to the latest report from the World Bank, more than 75% of the population owns a mobile phone (Bank, 2012). Therefore it is observed that e-Commerce is moving towards m-Commerce. M-Commerce and payment finally move in together when pioneers came up with revolutionary technology in the form of near-field communication technology (NFC).

This technology enables the possibility to pay with your mobile phone, it also results in the introduction of concepts such as Google Wallet, ISIS, and several other mobile payment systems. The most famous among them is the Google wallet function, which enables people to store their loyalty card as well as credit card information in a virtual wallet and use it to pay through their mobile (or any other NFC enabled device) while purchasing goods without involving any physical mode of transaction.

This mode of mobile payment has drawn tremendous interest from people all over the world. Individuals find it highly convenient to carry physical wallets without a great amount of cash or cards, when they are provided with an option of making payments from a device that they require to carry nevertheless; which is their mobile.
