Most of us fall under the employment sector. Others start their own business. From this business ventures, Organization are formed. The investments call for skilled and semi-skilled employees to run their business objective. (Chava & Nachmais, 2008).Research has been carried out to find out the level of job satisfaction in a given a given organization. The bigger and complex the organization is, it calls to different levels of management. In this organizations highest level of management being the Chief Executive Officer to the most junior staff. At these different levels the employees can be at rewarding and overwhelming positions mostly the managers. This paper will critically evaluate the research done on why the employees feel overwhelmed with work demands, workloads and work related stress. On the last part of this paper, the paper will focus on where we have adequate staff to perform the job properly which allows the organization to provide top quality of patient care. Problem Statement Employees more often than not feel overwhelmed, and may be required to figure out what might be the underlying issue in their organization of work. Most of the time the situation is not as bad as the employees may think. Perception is a key factor while juggling in between the duties allocated and personal life. Many feel they don’ have enough time for their social life. Those who have families and dependents to look after feel that their jobs are too tying. The key factor is fatigue and balance of the world around any given individual. (Creswell, 2003). When you feel overwhelmed you need to figure out ways to rework your schedules and be in a position to accomplish whatever is required of you and re-energize on the areas that need your attention. Prioritizing on the core duties will ease the tension of feeling overwhelmed. As the current situation is solution sort to cap on this burning issue both in the government sectors and in the private sector. Seeking for help in work place is highly encouraged .employees should never feel ashamed to seek for assistance in their department. This can be practiced by the act of delegating, some of their duties to the skilled employees in their department. By failing to complete certain tasks does not necessarily mean the employee is incompetent, it might be the company has overloaded these employee and would need some assistance to meet the business objective. (Chava & Nachmais, 2008). The company at sometimes put too much on the employees shoulders to carry. Open communication needs to be put in place so that whenever such occurrence in the work place. Time management has been an area of success to those who use this asset well. Employees are overwhelmed because they fail to manage time well. Employees get overwhelmed when time catches up with them. Inevitable situations do occur in the work place, with the right priorities such situation is solved in a well speculated manner. Employees should focus on important issues at hand and solve them in good time and eliminating the overwhelming factor in the work place. Use of available technology advancement can ease the overwhelming situation towards the employee. A good example would be like when an employee is on leave or not in a position to access the office for some time, the can set auto reply on their outlook and e-mails to notify the fellow colleagues that this particular person is not available for this certain period of time. Use of blackberry handsets and the internet enabled handset can ease communication and task and these are some of the new technologies that can be used to simplify issues. (Spackman, 2002). Literature Review The major principle for growing the employee awareness is for the team to have a complete overview of what their employer is looking for in the survey. Approximate 60 % will be willing to do it as soon its posted on the intranet accessibility for that matter if the organization has made such arrangements. (Taylor 2003).This is a great accomplishment and the staff needs to be motivated to gather issues that may be underlying, and need to be brought to the light. Online survey can be able to accomplish this achievement as the employees login to their work stations and reminder to be conducted to ensure everyone is heard. The team has to complete the staff survey so far which is a great stride and would be grateful for that. It does mean, however, that the remaining team is encouraged to do so. The team really needs to make an effort, especially given that the team took advice and made it online this year to make it easier to complete. It might seem a bit of an effort but it really does help us to identify and fix issues that go to make any organization a great place to work. It was from years of staff survey that an organization is able to address issues that included: This calls for publishing clear guidelines on promotion, giving priority to internal candidates for all vacancies and setting targets of 60:40 in favor of internal candidates; improving the benefits for our contract colleagues including medical cover and harmonized Christmas bonus, and the like; Introducing of more flexible working conditions to improve work life balance. Any organization needs to know whether there are other things that need fixing but it can’t do it without employees input. It would also be nice to get views on the things that the organization has done over the past years in an effort to make things better. Finally, this paper acknowledges some of employees have nagging concerns about confidentiality.  (Taylor 2003). This has to be assured that everything possible has been done to make responses as anonymous as possible.  The survey is being conducted by the Groups that have extensive experience in doing this kind of work. Methodology From studies carried out, the online survey will boost the e consumer level to the e point that all the e intended information will extracted from the e participants. The intension is to involve the members of staff and highlight on the e areas that the employer has done well and areas that would need extra efforts. Hot issues come out very clearly and the employees are given total surety of their confidentiality and eliminating victimization. A well experienced team can be given a chance to carry out the survey and give feedback on the results. The following data was collected in a Vodacom Call center in UK, with one thousand six hundred employees. The main aim to carry out the research was to identify the issue of worker being overwhelmed in work place. 0 to represent Never; 1-to represent Once a month, 2 -to represent twice or more a month; 3-to represent once a week; 4- to represent twice or more a week and 5- to represent every day: Rating 0 1 2 3 4 5 Overwhelmed by workload 177 221 318 539 318 27 MEAN MODE MEDIAN STANDARD DEVIATION COEFFICIENT OF VARIATION 266.66 318 269.5 82.98 33.28 The table above clearly illustrates the mean of 266.66,the Mode of 318 and Median of 269.5.The bar chart reveals the majority of the employees in the call Centre feel work overload at least once or twice a week. These employees are scheduled to work an eight hours shift with one hour break. They have a flexible shift allocation across the clock. There is a 36.8 % of the data varied from the Mean of 266.6 which tallies to the coefficient variation of 33.28. The paper will visit job satisfaction in patient care environment. 1 will represent Strongly agree, 2- Agree,3 neither agree or disagree and 4 disagree. 5 strongly disagree. The data was collected of a patient care organization with 724 respondents. It has been clear that majority of the respondents have strongly disagreed there are enough staff to enable quality service in the patient care field. This is a strong indication of job dissatisfaction in patient care and they are under staffed, this can warrant avoidable strikes at the place of work. There is a 45.78 % of the data varied from the Mean of 144.8 corresponding to the coefficient of 3.24. Hypothesis This research is be carried to determine the level of job satisfaction and the quality of package and the inputs that the employer needs to implement. It will give a clear picture of what the organization looks like in the outside world. Any employer would like to be the employer of choice. This practice of job satisfaction being carried out in both private and government sectors give a mirror image of the relation between the employer and the employee. It would be necessary to carry out at least annual surveys, to mend the ribbons.
