LIGHT JET PLANE Research Paper [Affiliation] Technological innovations are mostly based on the provision of most basic necessities for a human life. It is an innate human behavior to go for the satisfaction of the most primitive and basic needs before moving forth towards higher standards of a better livelihood. All democratic governments are legally and ethically required to provide for these basic needs. Maslow’s hierarchy of needs clarifies this point to a greater extent (Kreitner, 2007). Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. (Rakowski, 2008) His developmental psychology indicates the grass root levels from which the humans assume the process of growth by giving air to different aptitudes of their survival requirements. The essence of almost all of the motivational theories is that needs model behavior and this behavior set forth satisfaction or dissatisfaction. The most primitive needs should be satisfied completely first and then gradually other needs should be fulfilled but then again sometimes the most primitive needs only prove to be a hurdle in the overall growth and routine task execution. The higher importance tasks can only be efficiently performed if the lower basic necessities are met. (Rakowski, 2008) When you start to satisfy higher needs they tend to become harder to achieve with every step and the process increases the demand of energy as you keep putting it in with every step. The light jet plane is basically a corporate jet with only one operational pilot seat and capable of accommodating around five people. Some of the have a proper lavatory system while some do not; however, it is very comfortable and highly in demand for many companies. Businessmen and VIP personnel can easily cover their required distances with all the space at their disposal and without having to bear the discomfort of public air transport planes. As the name signifies these planes are small, less heavy and fly at slow speeds but comfortably. (Pike, 2009) This mode of conveyance is both time and fuel efficient. Yet the costs are extremely high but even then they are coveted by many organizations. The VLJ is still not in the business markets but the prospects of its success are very high based largely on its environmental friendly nature. The major factor utilizing probably the majority of the organization’s concerns is the fiscal policies. External crisis such as inflation, stock market ups and downs etcetera have huge bearings on the overall economic infrastructure. The economic conditions of the population is checked and double checked before pricing goods or investing in the manufacture process. Moreover the financial condition of a particular locality plays a driving role admits (Kreitner, 2007). Not every geographical demarcation is well suited for buying expensive luxuries. So the company should chalk out its fiscal policies considering the minutest details regarding the ongoing currency value, stock’s market and the economic solidarity of the country. In order to avoid any major setbacks to the organization’s revenue generation or the entire outlet flop. In the modern era of technology it is extremely important for every company in the endeavor to success. To keep in touch with all the modern range of innovation they have a separate IT department which controls and manages the infrastructure. The company will have to invest a lot into such technological advances such as organizing a new transportation fleet which efficiently tackles noise and air pollution. Moreover technological advances for coping with business information input and breaches have to be introduced. Better system for input and handling of information in different departments and segmentation must be introduced with a new line of IT. The company will have to invest a lot into digitization of entire procedures. Care should be taken however to ensure the purity of natural environment does not fade away. (Abott, 2001). Routines awareness campaigns to educate the general public must also be planned and programmed to make sure the people know what they are buying and why they should keep their trusts in the company and its products. Everything from the gist to the surface is planned and executed perfectly. The major factors affecting the working of a particular business organization are Political instability: Toppling of governments, coups and terrorism create business instability. Social instability: Ethical, cultural and moral standards differ with people and land. Policies should be devised after considering these factors to avoid business flop. Economic factors: Average rate of business growth, inflation, value of home currency and tax should be incorporated into statistical studies of a region before devising a business plan. Technological factors: Innovations, availability or access of technology at the required level and its easy access are important factors to be noted. Technological factors include not only ICT based installations but all other modes of conveyance and transportation. The information and communication technology has brought a remarkable unification by merging the telephonic communication with a regular computer system. It has basically aided in technologically strengthening the concept of globalization. All information, every call and every meeting is just a click away. In fact coming to think of it, the world is a global village because of such technological innovations. The authenticity of this statement doesn’t need any more strengthening than the fact that the life of today’s man is centered on the pros and cons of the day. That too, if only he is cognizant enough to begin with. The world today has all of us webbed together by the strings of communication. A global village, it is being called. In order to survive here, being with-it is crucial. Cellular devices, televisions, World Wide Web every single device is targeting at maximum acquisition of knowledge and information. Ethics, virtues and morality make life live-able but to thrive, a proper hold of tactics gives an upper hand. Sitting in a third-world country but knowing the prevailing circumstances in developed countries and infected countries like Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan gives a certain amount of enthusiastic self-confidence. Not only that but the ability to adapt to a foreign land without feeling vulnerable. Political, diplomatic and monetary consciousness solidifies our roots. Our customs, culture and every day technological improvements have transformed us into something that we believe is us based on the set standards of the society. We fail to perceive ourselves for what we really are and instead bank on the fact that if the society accepts us we have accomplished the mission. But we cannot be blamed; it is the need of the day to be in touch with the world and create the necessary modifications. Where ever you work, whatever your plans for the future are, establishment requires a conceptive approach. A sound utilization of even trinkets of information enhances your personality and those of the people around you. Therefore being up to date with the current affairs from around the globe is an important tool for survival. Knowledge is an innate part of a human. He strives to know, whether he realizes it or not; Instincts, maybe, but a man is always keen to hear the gossip of the day. With the present deteriorating conditions of the world, inflation, poverty, destabilizing economy, epidemics, terrorism and retaliation wars, probability of mishaps is ever more increasing. It is therefore important to be aware of minute to minute proceedings both nationally and internationally. So it is innate for the company’s internal working and lines of operation to satisfy needs of efficient transportation by utilizing new and improved facilities. The VLJ accentuates to all these basic requirements so inclination towards these machines are natural. There are many different models of VLJs each with its own set of unique capabilities. Client attractions are another important target for companies to meet with. Epic, Eclipse, Honda, Cessna Mustang and Embraer Phenom are some commonly known jets. The initial designing was a very difficult task because it was primarily focusing on traveling distances and lavishness. (Sharkey, 2006) Eventually an aircraft with sleek design, perfectly mechanized avionics and comfort level was manufactured and enlisted itself in the list of things highly in demand by large corporate bodies. Technical specifications include: “Seats: 4-7 people  Speed: up to 450 miles per hour  Range: 1355 miles e.g. from London to Paris  Cessna Mustange, Embraer Phenom 100, HondaJet HA420 Seats: 2 crew + 4 passengers  First year produced: 2006 Engine:  Two Pratt & Whitney PW615F  Avionics: Garmin G1000  Speed: 390 miles per hour or 340 knots  Range: 1,150 nautical miles  Certified Ceiling: 41,000 ft (12,497 m)  Take-off Distance: 3,110 ft (948 m)  Landing Distance: 2,380 ft (725 m)  Height 13 ft 5 in (4.09 m)  Length 40 ft 7 in (12.37 m)  Wingspan: 43 ft 2 in (13.16 m)  Ramp Weight: 8,730 lb (3,960 kg)  Maximum Payload: 1,200 lb (544 kg)  Six large oval windows Club seating  High-end, hand-crafted luxury  Dropped aisle  Executive tables  Refreshment storage  All-leather reclining seats  Plush wool carpeting  Toilet  Fore and aft external baggage compartments Range: 1355 miles (2180 km) e.g. London to Rome” (Data on Cessna Citation Mustang from www.cessna.com) REFERENCES: Chris Abott.
