Introduction For the purpose of this paper I have chosen to discuss Roman statue of the three Graces. In the of the paper I intend to give a short paragraph about the statue, giving basic information about its location, purpose, size and historical background. Next, I will discuss the particular culture the statue vies from and how the statue is connected to it. Finally, I will explore its meaning, answer why it is intriguing and what I have learned while writing about it. The Facts Marble statue of three graces is currently on display in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Historically, the statue belongs to ancient Roman culture and is dated back to 2nd century A.D. The work is actually a copy of a Greek statue from 2nd century B.C.. It shows three young girls linked together in a dance-like pose.
