Extract of sample "The Book Intrigues Me"

Drawing from the unfolding events in the book, I have learnt that my father is the best teacher for me. I can easily identify with many of the chapters in the book. The book presents a family context that is relevant to the contemporary world. Social class differences are easily identifiable all over the world. In this regard, the parent-child relationship is fundamental in learning the good, and further differentiating that good from the bad. My father teaches me what straight ways of life are characteristic of, and I can relate his concepts with those of the book with ease.

My relationship with my father has had its difficulties. At times we agree and at others we do not. When my father and I disagree, I consult this book for the way forward. After reading some paragraphs in the book I only end up realizing that my father was right. This book, therefore, acts as my conflict resolution agency, where disagreements become agreements. This is a scenario that not only intrigues me but also enhances my relationship with my father.
