The fourth section is about the market in which the firm is operating, such as market segmentation.

The fifth chapter discusses the firm at the global level, such as global expansion and global strategy. The sixth chapter covers the aspects of stakeholders, such as stakeholder impact analysis. The seventh chapter is comprised of a conclusion and recommendations, which will suggest the company work in specific areas to improve its goals in an effective and efficient manner. History and Company’s BackgroundByung-Chull founded a business that focused on selling dried Korean fruit, fish, and vegetables to Manchuria and Beijing and on trade export.

In Daegu city of Korea, the business was started with the name of Samsung, which means 3 stars, on 1st March 1938. In 1951, Samsung Corporation was established. After three years, the founder founded Cheil Industries Inc. In the year 1958, the company acquired Ankuk Fire and Marine Insurance. After five years, another insurance company, named as DongBang Life Insurance, was acquired by Samsung Corporation. In 1966, Samsung Everland was established. In 1969, Samsung Electro-Mechanics was established and it was merged in 1977 with Samsung Electronics (Samsung, 2016).

In the 1970s, the production and sale of black and white televisions, machines, microwave ovens, and refrigerators were started. At the end of the 1970s, the company diversified again and established its chemical and construction units (Samsung, 2016). In 1980, the production of air conditioners was commenced. In the next year, the export of microwave ovens to Canada took place. In 1982, a sales subsidiary was opened in Germany.
