Understanding the importance of being a safety clothing manufacturer links to the welfare of potential customers that decide to use the products of the business for their own needs. Because of this, it is important to have quality and value that is attached to the products and services that are offered through the company. Setting this up from the beginning of the business will also provide the company with a complete vision towards meeting customer needs. Through this, is the ability to make sure that the consumers are able to receive the care needed for safety. Not only does this need to be available through the products offered to customers, but also through the foundational principles and concepts offered within the company so the values reflect the products that are offered. The products and services offered by the safety clothing manufacturer company contains a wide range of clothing products for different service areas. Specifically, the clothing company has the mission statement of providing safety and care for customers and service workers through the clothing. With this, is protection of the company's environment through personal and corporate integrity. The company will rely on values and quality from the internal environment, which will ensure that customers are able to receive the care, quality and protection needed through the products. Through this main mission, are several different products that can help to identify the quality offered to others. The range of products offered through the clothing manufacturing will be based on work clothing that is needed for various service areas. This includes things such as work clothes for hospitals and other working areas. This also includes options such as fire fighting suits, which will offer protection in this service field. Reflective vests and coats for different types of workers, such as construction workers also will be provided in the area. Each of these will be based around supporting service workers through offering them high quality products that allow them to work more efficiently without having to worry about the protection that is needed within their environment (TradeKey, 2008). This will be done first by fulfilling the internal environment quality through integrity and quality, as well as considering the details that are a part of the different products provided to different service workers. The vision for the future of this company is to continue to offer quality products that provide the protection and care for service workers in different fields. This begins with having the right types of products, materials and types of clothing that are offered to customers. This also includes the ability to offer expansion in two areas. The first is to offer innovative products that provide higher quality materials than other types of protective clothing. Some of the clothing offered sometimes doesn't offer the highest protection needed. Through continuing to work on designs and options, the company will have the capability of expanding it's product lines to include higher quality and more innovative types of clothing. With this, the company has the capability of finding specialized wear for customers. For instance, one of the difficulties with protective wear is that it is sometimes not suitable for different individuals and can lead to discomfort or danger because of the use and design of materials. Combining designs with the different clothing allows for even more protection to be offered by the company and to the customers. By providing this quality and expanding the value through innovation of the products, the company will be able to provide support to service workers and those needing protective clothing (GlobalSpec, 2008). The vision, according to these principles leads to the statement that the safety clothing manufacturing company will assist and support various workers through offering high quality and innovative worker clothing. This will be done through design, innovation and continuous building within the clothing company so the best options can be provided to those who are serving in various fields. Along with this vision statement is the capability to include employees who have the capacity to design and allow for innovative products to be offered, combined with the capacity to continue to offer some of the highest quality clothing available. For the mission and vision to be complete within the company, are certain guiding principles that will be the foundation of the business. This includes individual, cultural, social and ethical concepts that will be tied into the manufacturing of the different areas. This is important within this company because many of the products and clothing made also ensures the safety and well-being with the customers that are buying the products. The first and main principle that will be put into the work force is with the concept of responsibility. This includes being responsible for the manufacturing done, and ensuring that it is done in quality. In order to reinforce this individual ethic, there will be check points within each of the workers to ensure the work is being completed in the best possible manner. There will also be training to ensure responsibility for the work that is being done. The second concept that relates to the principles and ethics of the area is with the concept of leadership. This can help to form the social culture within the work area and allows all individuals to work as a team within the area. There will be several individuals who will have the leadership capability, and who will need to demonstrate communication, integrity, responsibility and will need to work towards valuing those in the work force. This allows everyone to feel as though the environment is open and that there is room for growth and support with the work being done. With this in mind, will be the need for the company to offer leadership training and to value the concept of integrity and responsibility among the culture of the corporation (Business Roundtable for Corporate Ethics, 2007). The concept of combining these two factors within the business is to ensure that everything that is made within the company is met with a level of integrity and sincerity. Because of the importance of safety with the items made, it is important to emphasize a safe environment where employees feel that they can correctly reach high standards without feeling pressured. This will need to be supported through different training programs within the organization. This can also be implemented through incentives that can support the ethical decisions of the business. For instance, if an individual has high quality of the different needs and is taking the time to ensure that value is met, than certain positive reinforcement will follow the ethical standards that are being met. Doing this allows all the employees to have an opportunity to reach the same standards and to move about their work in a way that supports honesty, openness, integrity, sincerity and the willingness to take pride in the products that are being offered to the community. The more this will be done through the social and ethical environment, the more successful the business will be (Shaw, William, 1999). The importance of the vision, mission and values for strategic direction will make a difference in the success or failure of the clothing company. The vision begins this with allowing for a clear understanding of where the business can go if all individuals within the company understand the value of what is being done, as well as what is offered. The mission sets the foundation for the employees, as well as the customers, for what is offered and what can be provided by the clothing company. These combine together to set a basis for the entire organization so there can be a complete understanding of what is occurring within the business, as well as where the business can lead. This results in setting the beginning of the work environment and culture. The more this is understood by everyone within the area, the more success the business can lead to, while keeping these main values at the center of the business. Combined with this is the ability for the values to work with the strategic direction of the organization. When there are ethical considerations and a cultural and social network within a company that makes up the internal environment, it reflects on the rest of the business. If employees follow the main values of integrity and quality within their work, it will reflect with the products that are offered. The customers that receive the products will also be happier with the products received. This also allows to customers having the capability to relate and trust the company because of the different values and ethics that are within the organization. The more this is focused on and the more that the employees, managers, leaders and owners of the business can make this as a center point, the more likely it will reflect in the outer business. The result will be continuous growth, understanding of the vision and mission and customers having the ability to understand the value of the clothing being offered (Trevino, Linda, 2006). The concept of building a business with foundational concepts and principles is one that leads into the next phases and ideals within a business. By setting the right mission, vision and ethical principles within any organization, is also the capacity for the internal and external environment to understand the business and to respond in the correct way. Through this, the strategic direction can continue to grow and there can be complete direction and understanding with what is being offered through the safety clothing manufacturing company.
