Application for HSBC Asset Management HSBC is a multinational bank, which is also serves the financial services toits customers. HSBC Holding PLC is world’s second largest bank, founded in the year of 1991 in London. The full form of the company is Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, which had originated in Hong Kong and Shanghai in the year 1865. As it is world’s second largest bank, it has more than 6000 offices over the 80 countries around the world. It has several functions imbibed in its operational activities, offering huge growth potentials to young talents and certainly, have inspired me strongly. HSBC is also diversified in the domains of commercial banking, global banking wealth management and global private banking. In subsequence, also rewards a wide scope to accommodate diverse talents (HSBC Holdings Plc 1-595). Inspired by its wide reach and impulsive recognition of talents, I would like to work in HSBC wealth management department – specifically in the asset management division, as I believe that I am well capable to handle these job roles. I am not only an academic scholar but I have also achieved success in my extra-curricular activities at various instances. While explaining leadership skills, I would like to mention that I am enough experiences in the field of building a team and managing the team in an efficient way, which I was able to observed in my body building or gym training sessions. I can easily handle a team and motivate the team members in my gym centre, by encouraging them in a positive manner. I am also a very good bike rider. I have completed my precision course from a driving school. I am well capable to take up risks and challenges, as I already have acquired certificates in the bike riding competition that reflects my risk taking nature. I also have obtained adequate knowledge regarding the selling process. I had also completed my internship from the office of Ferrari Dealership in motor sales. In this period of time, I had helped them yield almost 9 million Hong Kong dollars, to the company within a single month. As per my non-academic revenue, I am enough proficient and I have maintained a preferably impressive approach towards my working background. In order to describe myself as a suitable candidate for the job prospect in HSBC, I can say I have an excellent set of communication skills that I had generated during my internship in Ferrari Showroom. I would like to state that I have generated my professional communication skills at the time of working as a sales person in Ferrari, where I learnt about the psychological factors through which, marketers could convince people to buy the products. The internship has further helped me to understand the requirements of customers and their necessities along with capabilities to judge the offers made. Due to these excellent communicating skills, I was able to give approximately 9 million Hong Kong dollar revenue to company. In addition, I am technically sound and skilled. I am experienced in working with Microsoft office software. I am also very much enthusiastic and curious in nature. I have substantial eagerness in learning new things and adopting the good based on the shared values of my employer and myself as well. I am well capable to adopt new environment too. As I have moved from China to the UK for my educational purpose, I am enough flexible to adopt the culture of UK. I can consider this is as a good quality, as the Chinese culture is entirely different from that of the UK culture. I also faced minimal difficulty in adopting English language being a Chinese, which further enriched my communication skills. I got the opportunity to do my internship from three renowned companies of Hong Kong. As per my ability, I had grabbed those three opportunities when completing my internship. I am a positive and self-motivated person, and thus, I can motivate people through my positive attitude proving myself effective for the organisation in whole. As I am well capable to build the teams, I also considered myself as a captain of the team. I can guide my team members and I can rectify their loopholes and mistakes that they will intend in their near future. During my job in Franklin, I used to work as a team leader. Illustratively, once my team member provide the customers with wrong polices with erroneous locking period. The main problem identified in this regard indicated that fund and policy provided to the customers were against China’s regulations that were known as RQUFII. After the huge consultation between two external legal entities and internal allies, the regulations were changed and finalised while the customers were provided with a new set of policies. I have an extreme speculating capacity to influence the people, motivate them towards new things and change their decisions thereby. During the period of my internship in Ferrari, I used to interact with those customers who were mainly interested in purchasing Benz SL. It was too hard to get those customers who were interested in purchasing the Ferrari California, even though it was a very good model. At that time, I used to encourage the customers and motivate them by providing the positive features of Ferrari California. I also described the customers to think the car in a different manner whereby I stressed on the fact that as the Ferrari California is a fervent car, it could explain the owner’s passion in its personality. By this encouragement, several customers had changed their mindset and decided to purchase Ferrari California that rewarded the company with over 400 million Hong Kong dollars as revenue. I also possess substantial understanding about the business and its procedures. I have knowledge regarding the trading of stock, as I have gathered enough knowledge regarding the trading facilities of stocks. Thus, in order to use this particular experience, the banking sector can be regarded as one of the most appropriate domains. I would also like to mention that I had developed my stock bricking trading skills during my study period in the UK, when I used to wake up at 2:30 am at midnight and went to bed for sleep at 7 o’clock in the morning. However, this hard work provided me with substantial knowledge regarding share broking. Through my internship, I became a more job-oriented person. I had learnt time management as well as managing the professional and personal life during the working life. I had done consecutively two internships during my educational period in the UK. In return, this hectic schedule has made me well capable to evaluate the importance of working life.
