Summary of Leadership Competencies - Assignment Example

Ability to inspire others to complete a goal task - Competency in compelling other people to complete a goal task is a great requirement for leaders. However, there is a need to improve this ability. To do this, I will ensure that I engage myself in group activities with other students whereby we will set goals and targets to be achieved. I will then ensure that I aim at completing my part ahead of others to try to compel them to do the same.

Participation in community services - It is a great leadership requirement for leaders to be socially responsible. To improve my participation in community services, therefore, I will ensure that I participate in community-based activities that are already organized and try to seek information on the legal and authority requirements when organizing these activities. I will then use these guidelines to organize activities during the semester that will range from town clean-up activities, visiting and offering donations to children's homes, and visiting the street children.
