Liquidity ratios are financial metrics used to determine a company’s ability to pay off its short-term debt obligations. A higher liquidity ratio indicates a company has a larger safety margin to cover short-term debts. The most widely used liquidity ratios are the quick ratio, current ratio, and operating cash flow ratio.
