Their recommendation was that I could take it later on in my second or third semester. They scared me about the class having too much work for the freshmen. Despite the discouragement, I still went ahead to take the class. On my first day in this class, I saw everyone putting on formal clothes. All the students took the class seriously; something that even scared me more. It was until Ms. Sawyer put us in groups that I learned that the class would be an interesting one as we would be learning lots of things about business and presentation skills.

Just as many people feared this class, they gave it up for future semesters. They cited their reasons to be the fact that the class only had one credit, but had a lot of work. However, I accepted the challenge as I believed that we had to make ourselves stronger just from the beginning, something that many people did not realize. The purpose of Ms. Sawyer is to prepare us for the forthcoming classes. She is a very kind and a great person to us in this class. However, she is a no-nonsense lady who only gives credit where it is due.

So far, the class has been enjoyable, and I also enjoyed working as a team. I have, since, improved a lot in so many ways because of taking up this class. I have even changed my perception about the class and realize that it is not as hard as people had been saying. Finally, tell how your group / team functioned for the remainder if this semester. For example did you grow stronger, did you fall short; how did you come together for the different team presentations (I.e. Hot topics in education, careerPedia , GSBM Inventors EXPO , GSBM Olympics ) Also , did you shift from a group to a team , team to group or did you stay consistent in just one of those areas My team emerged one of the top six teams.
