Survey on one of the 18 Critical Physical Securities in the United s: Wells Fargo & Company My is David Launce, a bachelor of Economics student at Eastern Kentucky University. Among the courses I undertake this semester is on Physical Security. The requirement of this course project is that each student is to conduct a survey on physical security of a facility or a building that falls among the eighteen Infrastructural Sectors that are very critical to the United States economy. Having substantially looked into the scope and nature of how your business operates I found it imperatively essential to conduct the survey at your organization.
I want acknowledge the fact that the survey is set to be done in the most ethical manner and within the framework of your organization’s set guidelines. Further the survey is scheduled and shall be re-scheduled when need call for so that it suits within your organization’s operational timelines and programs to ensure less inconveniences as a result of carrying out the survey. During the survey process I will have to take a walk-through of the whole facility and that would include interrogation to the respective departmental heads and knowledge seeking on the various facets of the plant on their operations and course of propelling the success of the bigger Wells Fargo & Company.
In addition the survey shall involve observation and enquiry of the physical protection elements of the facility, for instance much of the priority would be consolidated towards areas of the banking system locks, the lighting system in the building, fire and calamity control parameters, access control, system of surveillance, credit control, tax compliance, wealth and wholesale banking, community banking, brokerage and retirement facets of your organization among many other areas. Equally important towards the success of this survey is that a précised interview with the organization’s security manager would also be entailed in the overall survey report I shall finally submit.
The whole process I approximate to take about one hour twenty minutes.
