With the new structure, decision-making and other management issues take the form of decentralization.

Communication at Coca-Cola Amatil takes a top-down approach, which involves the issuance of information in a hierarchical structure. In this structure, the highest-ranking officials issue commands, which are then transferred through the hierarchy and the managerial structure to the people on the downer level. Information is mostly transferred through board meetings that bring together executives from various departments. These executives then pass on the message of communication to the people in their departments. This can happen through supervisors or directly through departmental meetings.
