College The Emergence of the internet as a communication channel has lead to the growth of e-business and e-commerce. However, it has been n major issue since a few business enterprise and organization thrive as a result of this change in technology. Employees of many organizations lack a voice in decision making and sharing their thoughts through inventions. The key driver to the success of any business is by using Information Technology in supporting the staff through team works. This step will be a huge milestone since it will give them an opportunity to dream and come up with varieties of inventions. The rate at which Digital networks is transforming workplace is incredible. The networked business entities have created a virtual business environment where by employees can now work from home. Work groups are distributed around the entire globe in almost all the fields of works. Their convergence is achieved through hosting meetings over the internet through videos and audios, regardless of their location (Davenport, 2005 p.56). The advancement of these efforts has enabled them to share thoughts, goals and common interests of their respective fields of professions. This virtual environment has proven to be a positive impact to businesses since it enhances flexibility of work and duties. Organizations must shun the old and outdated models which they usually engaged in. The tendency of employees converging at the central place of work is boring since a few numbers of employees can keep up with that model today (Regan & Oconnor, 2002 p.8). Proper organization structure, resource management and staffing are the key strategies for the success of any business of the company need to be motivated to make them enjoy their duties which enhances productivity of the organization. Adoption of Information Communication Technology in businesses fosters overwhelming business relationships. The relationship among the customers, the employee and the business shareholders have to be strong. The time factor at which the customer receives his /her services is also paramount since if acts as a motivation factor to attract more customers. A good technological system ensures all these necessities are taken into account (Regan & Oconnor, 2002 p.12). In a networked business setup, workers can access all the information they need from the powerful PCs of the company. The presence of Wide web’s opens up the enterprises to the world thus creating more opportunities on their services. Business inventions are also important aspects for its success. U.S industries have thrived through inventions. It is a necessity to continue investing in inventions and innovations. A lot of immense support of these inventions from the management is recommended.CIO magazines points out that, innovation is the basic contributor to the success of many cooperates around the globe (Hyland, Boccardelli & Magnusson, 2003 p.78). The management bodies have invited new ideas into business. They have devised unthinkable way of giving incentives to their employee no matter their levels or ranks. For a company to cease the market attention, it has to firstly give innovation the first priority as a step to success. Innovations integrate the enterprises thus efficient support and allocation of necessary resources has to be paramount (Newell, 2009 p.54). Workers need to be empowered to enable them succeed in the economy of knowledge. The overall support of digital networks leads to more staff members being responsible .Workers can now feel they are a part of the organization since they are involved in the general tasks of the organization contributing to achievement of the corporate goals. Which distributed power, more brain capabilities are utilized (Jerry & William, 2005 p.89). The only disadvantage of distributed power is that it might be time consuming but it is proven to be business effective. Opening communication channels in an organization shapes the digital economy (Newell, 2009 p.55). A change in how the workers relate and interact changes the duties of the organization. Empowerment culture recommends equality to all. People at all ranks need to be listened to and make their voice head. Bill Gates exercises approach in his company .For instance, the renown impetus response in his company to the internet was neither his nor his senior management team. It originated from a group of employees who reportedly took note of the benefits of the internet. Consequently; they recalled the company’s policy which started that “people who are intelligent in the organization should be at the forefront to drive change”. Bill Gates acknowledges that the policies of the company have been shaped by technology. The future explains that, he has established a platform where he can interact with any of his employee through e-mails (Newell, 2009 p.57). Employees look for a well paying job that will enable them coupe with hard economic times .In spite for opportunities to which enables them diversify knowledge and experience ,a paycheck is also essential. Enterprises are being compelled to devise new approaches to reward a job well done. Enterprises need be flexible in assigning and rescheduling workers. The rotation of workers on a variety of assignments enables them be accountable to all managers present in the organization. Compensation of the workers attributed by knowledge, the performance and the skills of an individual, contrary to time spent in doing the task assigned. Efficiency and speed are the key factors that are considered. It doesn’t matter how long an employee spend in the office. Efficiency of the assignment is determined in terms of results delivered within a particular time constraint (Jones & George, 2003 p.394). Company’s managers are not comfortable with the idea of employees working from home. They argue out that, there will be less effort and seriousness invested in the assignment. Workers have also shown reluctance in working from home. Their main concern is that, they want an environment where they can be seen for a prospect of a promotion in the company. Collaboration and teamwork are fundamental in the modern business. Companies need to emphasize more on the information sharing to great extent. This new culture need to be fast absorbed down from the management hierarchy (PandžA & Holt, 2007 p.350). It might a challenge at first if the management is still in the process of evaluating individual performance in business. Collaboration is vital because it enable each employee to participate in the work project thus fostering understanding among individuals. Companies need to establish a culture which honors collaboration in their organizations. It is considered to be an essential factor in for success in years to come. Nevertheless, this important factor promotes diversity in thinking in coming up with solutions to problems and issues which arises in business. Effective collaboration is important to a project since the people working on it get energized which enables the workers to produce good results (Jones & George, 2003 p.386). Teamwork has setbacks despite its significance. It involves people with different perspectives varied points of views. It might prove difficult to convince an individual to support ones point of view. Certain employee might want to have the influence over the other. Such dominance might culminate into conflicts of interest thus in turn ail the decision making process and low the productivity and output (Randy, Jeannie L & Terry, 2006 p.70). The process of establishing a team of workers to achieve a specific goal takes time. Hitches might arise in the process of its formation due to leadership conflict (Davenport, 2005 p.111). A number of individuals might not be comfortable with a certain proposed chairperson of the project thus escalating to division among members. The executive of the company should exercise their role of enabling that team members are coherent. Mentorship programs and team building exercises need to be established within the organization. There are a number of resources which should be supplied by the management in fostering a coherent bong among workers in a team. Groupwares promotes coordinating, collaboration and creativity among members (Davenport, 2005 p.112). Business enterprises and many organizations have failed to incorporate the strategies which promote the growth of an effective business environment .Organizational structures are poorly planned implemented .Investing in IT in business bodies is the key driver to its success since it links the employees to the management department (Tarafdar & Ragu-Nathan, 2010 p.304). It also encourages flexibility and opens the enterprise to the outside world. The employees of the business need to be given a voice in the organization which enables them to articulate their thoughts and as a way of encouragement and thrive of innovations. Teamwork is also important. It enables collective responsibility and diversification of knowledge among the employees. Incentives to individuals are also a crucial strategy. Since it encourages the employees and gives them a feeling that their efforts are recognized and appreciated in return. The establishment of a good communication system within an organization strengthens the bond among the customers, the staffs and business partners. There is need for companies and corporate diverse ways and new policies within their businesses that will help them succeed. Bibliography CHALUPA, M. R. (2002). Elizabeth A. Regan and Bridget N.
