I would like to be seriously considered for transfer to one of the open slots. Although I will be coming from the insurance department of our company as a data encoder, I assure you that I am more than highly qualified for the position I am applying for. I spent my freshman year in college as a Computer Science student but later transferred and graduated with a degree in Communication Arts instead, However, I knew that computers were the wave of the future and I made sure to continue my training in that field by completing short term computer studies in Website Design and training in the use of DHTML.

I also possess Certificates of Completion in C+, Visual Basic, and Perl Software, computer languages which are the basis of all the current modern day computer software. I was blessed to have grown up in an era when the game consoles were but a developing segment of entertainment. It is my opinion that only someone like me, who has been using the previous incarnations of the game consoles, who can best understand the problems of the clients and help them solve it without getting too technical with them.

The re-training that will come with this possible promotion and transfer is something that I am willing to undergo in the name of career development. I am not afraid of this challenge and I am looking forward to eventually completing the training program and being able to help our clients in what will be a new line of work and field of career development for me.
