The larger companies cater to a much larger scale of manufacture and distribution. As such, they cannot focus on naturally raw concoctions and environmentally friendly distribution. It would mean a complete rescaling to attempt to compete with Burt’s.

Nevertheless, the cost is a factor for most consumers, and it is simply more cost-effective to purchase the products of larger companies. In the end, the competition is limited as a balance of supply with demand.
