Align Your Plan to The Overall Strategy That You Had Recommended To The Senior Executives In Assignment 2 The business will be aimed at providing different motorcycles with different engine sizes to serve the diverse needs of different consumers in the society. Motorcycles are common to the male sex than the female sex, therefore, the business will targets men considered to be of middle age that are frequent travels to long distances and are looking for affordable to move around while conducting their different business. The motorcycles produce by the company will have different engine sizes to cater for the different needs of their consumers, and they will also posses new segments which will cater for their long distance journeys. The motorcycles will both serve domestic and commercial purposes making the targeted audiences to make their choice of either purchasing a commercial or private motor cycle. The different engine sizes will also mean different velocity for the audience who will make a purchase according their preferences in speed and use of the motorcycle. Various steps will be put in place to ensure that the motorcycles produced for the company are certified by the concerned government agencies to be safe for public use. The company will be forced to conduct a market research for the product, they will also develop and implement an effective project management strategy and lastly they will look for skilled labor to help in the construction process of the motor cycle. The main aim of the construction and manufacturing of the motorcycles will be to provide consumers with efficient and reliable motorcycles which can serve their different needs both privately and commercially. However, the new kinds of motorcycle that will be produced by the company will not be accepted readily by the audiences, but they will attracted to the unique features that the machine will posses and with time, they the profits proceeds will increase as consumers will be preferring the new kind over the older one. Analyze The Type Of Staff That Your Company Would Need In Order To Make The Manufacturing Switch To Motorcycles With Larger Motors The motorcycles company will need a highly effective staff to enable them make the manufacture switch to motorcycles with larger motors. The staff to be employed buy the company should have the ability to deal with different risk within the company and in the manufacturing process. The staff is expected to deal with risk and uncertainty to allow them makes decisions which may lead to the achievements of set goals. The staff will also be expected to be result oriented. This will involve them demonstrating common sense in situations where they are allowed to make decisions that are capable of solving problems and cutting down the level of risk that would have resulted in the manufacturing process. The staff is also expected to be energetic to deliver their best to the company. Energetic staff is associated with meeting the organizations’ goals and success. The staff to be employed by the company are also expected to have a high growth potential to allow them occupy the various management opportunities that may prevail themselves within the company. Last but not least, the staff is expected to be good team players within the company. This will motivate them to deliver in unison towards the greater good of the company. Lastly, the staff is expected to be multitasking. They should be able to accept new duties assigned to them, therefore, leading to efficiency in the different departments within the organization. Prepare Four (4) Team-Building Strategies For Handling The Newly Formed Team. Discuss The Manner In Which The Strategies That You Have Prepared May Positively Or Negatively Affect Productivity Within The Company The company will come up with the following team-building strategies for their newly formed staff employed by the company. They will establish clear goal and mission for all the staff in the company. This will involve the company distributing the goals in a team meeting to all staff to view. This will also involve the team conducting a goals meeting for the newly employed staff to forge a way forward for the company or team activities. The first strategy will involve establishing communication strategy for meetings conducted e by the staff members. This will prove beneficial to the company since the staff wills come up with different ways during the meeting s to improve their productivity. Secondly good communication rules within the meeting will assist the staff in understanding one another and the different terms used amongst themselves, therefore, improving the efficiency within the company. The second strategy the company will apply as team-building strategy to the newly formed staff will involve establishing clear structures and roles for each member of the team. This will enable the staff to clarify all the misses within the company and they will be in a position to rotate roles, helping them improve their skill in different departments. The third strategy that will be used by the company will involve encouraging collaboration between the staff members. This will inspire them to work together as company and the company’s productivity will be significantly increased. In addition, collaboration will motivate the staff teams to increase their group camaraderie. The last strategy the company will conduct will involve establishing mechanism for problem solving for the newly recruited staff. This will assist the company in framing the different conflicts that will be experienced in the organization and will also boost their opportunity to grow. Analyze The Role Of The Project Manager That This Project Would Require. Examine Three (3) Characteristics Of An Effective Project Manager That Are Relevant To This Particular Expansion Project. Provide a Rationale for the Response The company will require certain qualities for their motorcycle project manager. The company will require the project manager to conduct the following role while employed at their company. He or she will be required to design unique products that will attract audiences when use in the construction of the motorcycle. He or she will also be required to coordinate various processes in the construction of the motorcycle like the development, layout, testing, drafting and fabrication to ascertain that the project’s objectives are met. He or she will also be required to levels materials that will be used by the company in the motorcycle construction process. He or she will also be required to perform other tasks which are not important or lacks individuals assigned to them within the company. He or she will examine the problems to be encountered in the construction process and give viable recommendations that are valid and realistic for the company. He or she will also be required to plan for all major activities in the construction process of the motorcycle. When selecting project managers, the company will look for the following characteristics to help them in the selection of an effective project manager who will deliver to the company and increase production. The project manager will be required to have good interpersonal skills that will be essential in the managing of staffs within the company. Good interpersonal skills will help them in coordinating activities between different departments. Secondly, the project manager will also be expected to have good organizational skills. This will assist in keeping the company’s budget on schedule and will also competently delegate resources to different staff members leading to success in all major sectors. Lastly, the project manager is also expected to have communication skills. This is because communication is vital in the operation of all major organizations. He is expected to act as the link between technical teams and managers; therefore, he is expected to posses’ good communication qualities. In my opinion, a successful project manger should be one who has good characteristics and should always be able to accomplish roles delegated to him or required of him to accomplish. Good project managers are renowned by the exemplary qualities and communication skills. Emphasize The Importance Of Identifying Critical Path On Projects And The Manner In Which One Would Allocate Resources To All Of The Activities On The Critical Path Critical Paths on project is defined as all the tasks that determine the end date in your project schedule. It extremely important to companies as it helps project managers to predict on ways of accelerating their project by compressing their task. This shortens the duration that a project is done; therefore, the company stands a better chance in restoring its resources like capital. The process is extremely important as it delivers the project within the given budget, and ensures that that the construction process ids done effectively by qualified personnel. An individual would allocate resources to all the activities on the critical path following some steps which have been proven to solve most problems or resources allocation. This implies that a project can be rescheduled to allow for a chance to trade-off major issues. Resolve resource over locations by leveling can also be used in allocating resources to all the activities of the critical path as it helps in making decisions on the kind of decision to take.
