The company cultivates trading partnership based on mutual respect and trust. The employees are encouraged to offer feedback through the company’s annual climate survey. In addition, ArcelorMittal has established various employee relation diagnostics within its sites, which closely monitors the implementation of employees’ policies (Kyeong-Chan, 2009, p.50). ArcelorMittal recognizes the right to collective bargaining power and most of the employees are covered by the collective bargaining arrangements.

ArcelorMittal is focused on improving gender diversity and providing adequate support to women leaders in the company (Baron, 2001, p.30). Therefore, it has a steering committee comprised of ten five men and five women senior ArcelorMittal executives. The main aim of the above mentioned committee is to declare its strategy for obtaining a gender balance in the workforce and sustain the measures agreed upon. Notably, the level of pay between males and females in ArcelorMittal and largely the same and all employees are treated equally irrespective of their sex.

ArcelorMittal maintains good governance in regard to standards and terms of contract for its entire staff in developed Western countries and in the newly-emerging economies. Despite the financial or economic environment which the company operates, ArcelorMittal uphold the greatest standards and terms of contract for its staff in all markets. This is because the highest standards and terms of contract for its staff enable the company to remain very strong and competitive. In order to achieve efficient standards and terms of contract for staff, ArcelorMittal is controlled by a board of directors and managed by a particular group of management board.

The above mentioned committee monitors and reviews the standards and terms of contract for staff in its major market and those in the newly-emerging economies such as in Philippines and in Sri Lanka. The committee also makes adjustments to the standards and terms of contract for the staff where necessary (Donion, 2008, p.30). ArcelorMittal prosperity is mainly based on customer satisfaction. It preserves the quality of their various customer relations by maintaining significant business relationships that are based on mutual respect, fairness and integrity.

The information that the company offers to its customers is very clear, honest, pertinent and concrete and this helps in minimizing customer complains. Notably, the management of ArcelorMittal is very careful to avoid making statements to their customers that may lead to misunderstanding between the company and the customers. The customer complaints are handled in an efficient and effective manner (Morgan, 2011, p. 55). In addition, ArcelorMittal Company does not accept the placing of business promises to their respective customers, which will be impossible to achieve or keep in regard to their product features, prices and delivery times.

ArcelorMittal is committed to offering a trading environment to its customers that is free of any kind of harassment. It ensures that all its customers are treated equally and any discrimination practice based on color, sex religion, race or ethnic is not tolerated while handling customer complaints.
