Differences between the Two Individuals Philosophies. Kelley Davis insists that everyone can do any job through training, whereas Rob Davis argues that different groups have different selfish interests that may hinder or increase the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 281). Kelley Davis has a favorable outlook on the cooperative responsibilities of company workers while Rob Davis has negative impression of fellow workers. Perspectives. Kelley Davis believes that current organizational communication is pathetic because no one knows what is going on, whereas Rob Davis believes that jobs are better managed by territories (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 238).

Kelley Davis has a pessimistic view of the work environment while Rob Davis as an optimistic view of the workplace. (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 238). Responsibilities. Kelley Davis insists that responsibilities include keeping track of achieving organizational and individual goals and objectives, whereas Rob Davis advocates that responsibilities include contributing his own small share to the insurance industry’s objectives of meeting customer’s insurance needs (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 279). . Similarities between Organizations Both individuals advocate unique work, culture, and position concepts since both of them are influenced by personal behavior (ethics) norms (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 279).

Both give their best to their employers (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 279). Differences between Organizations Work. Kelley Davis works for a fuel company, Aventine, whereas Rob Davis works as an underwriter for an insurance company (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 279). Kelley Davis works in a globally competitive environmnet while Rob Davis works in a locally competitive busines scene (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 279). Culture. Kelley Davis works (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 279) in an environment where the mission is to reduce the nation’s dependence on foreign oil, benefiting the environment by lessening pollutants and improving automobile performance whereas Rob Davis works in an environment with its mission to financial protection and peace of mind to the current and prospective insurance policy customers (www.

pekininsurance.com). Position. Kelley Davis supervises subordinates whereas Rob Davis coordinates with agents and customers (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 279). Kelley Davis has direct command of subordinates while Rob Davis does not have direct command of subordinates (Shafritz, Russell, and Borick 279). Theories.
