Tablet computing is another world of excitement s everyone is introducing new and more advanced products. Amazon and Apple extremely cut down the engineering challenge of the tablet and scored big hits with the Kindle and the iPad. Amazon and Apple have the ability to succeed but they have gone through lot of failure attempts.1 Amazon is glad to announce that sales of kindle books at their website is increasing with pace with all print titles and they also declared that with the sale of eBooks are more than the other books but they don’t includes the sale of free books, it means they are going fast.

But now both the paper books and the hardcover books sells only less number of copies than the Kindle books. Amazon gives surprises to the publishers and the book sellers in the market and also to the editors. For example, Amazon is generating good profits from eBooks out of especial part of revenue is generated from books like “The Prophet” and “Mastering the Art of French Cooking,” which provide solid profits that allow editors to make more adventurous gambles on new books with Amazon.

So it decreases the total number of book sellers in the market as it is easy to find out books with Amazon. It is also difficult for the book sellers to maintain knowledgeable staff with good space for the books, which also gives cost to sellers but Amazon reduces this cost. Amazon gives hope to the people to make them happy with light weight kindle and easy to eye contact with a paper like e-ink display and with great feature of about full month battery timings as it was specially built. The company has also announced the kindle applications specially to support android and windows based tablets.

Director of Amazon for kindle said that we are very eager to carry the upcoming windows tablets and Android with free Kindle apps that will modify the particular device2. Now current year will also be a great year for the kindle as the previous year was also good for Amazon as well. Amazon kindle is now going to win the market with the devices with operating systems with its struggle of continuous innovation and research to give better satisfaction to the users. Android Operating System is also showing a great success in the market.

There is a perception that android will take over the operating systems. Android is thinking to takeover because more iphones are sold in U.S with android rather than iphones sold. As android is giving hits in their market and Google is playing a vital role in the market. Google comes with new and advanced features for the users. As there was a big issue that only a specific version can be used for the android devices but Google comes up with the application which can be used on any version of the android devices.

The apple company has produced two very interesting products, phones and iPads. Where iphone can also be called as smart phone which can be used for watching videos, to make phone calls, internet surfing, read book while listening to music and also used to send text messages and without the limit of downloading except the storage capacity of the iphones. The major difference of ipad and iphone is that it is a phone while ipad is not a phone. One of the major advantages of the tablets have over e-readers is the applications available to them.

For example the iPad 2 is currently providing access to Apple's Applications Store having more than 90,000 applications which are available for the company's tablet and Android-based tablets allows to access to the Android Market. Tablets are not a new concept, tablet PC was introduced by the Microsoft running with windows by using stylus. And the windows based tablets can run almost all the applications n has more advanced features than the android based tablets. Windows tablets supports all the applications to load as u can do in your desktop PC, for example, Microsoft Office and other applications you may found on the internet.

So with the full operating system it consumes more battery. Windows tablets were design to give an alternative to the notebooks and laptops while android and iOS was design for lighter weights and for more media consumption but the current versions of the operating systems3. Windows tablets are very close to desktop PC but the android tablets show more resemblance to that smart phones operating system.
