Name Course Instructor Date Alternative source of as beneficial and economical source. The demand for energy in the world’s economies has led to the problems of what is called the global warming. These are effects brought about through emission of carbon dioxide from industries due to increase in industrialization. Various experts have come up with different energy sources which are considered to be friendly to the environment in quest to reducing the extent of the harmful gas emission (Jard, G., et al 2013). Alternative energy is therefore the energy sources that are considered to harmless to the natural environment (Tie, siang Fui, 2013). They are considered to being renewable and as a result free energy. Examples of this type of energy include the wind energy, solar energy, hydroelectric energy, and geothermal energy. Form the reality of industries that are in need of energy coming up, increasing the availability of these natural sources of energy will reduce emission of carbon dioxide in the environment by a bigger percentage (Tie, siang Fui, 2013) . This shows the benefits of utilizing the natural energy sources compared to the old forms of energy sources which are increasingly causing various health problems due to the harmful gasses emitted in the environment (Jard, G., et al 2013) . The entire four renewable energy source mentioned above are beneficial to the environment but wind energy is the safest of all. Wind energy proves to have many advantages favoring the environment compared to the forms of energy (cardeners, Roberto, et al 2013). The first advantage of wind energy is its little cause to the global warming. Various activities done by people have led to increase in the emission of harmful gases to the atmosphere. These gases deplete the ozone layer leading to the phenomena of global warming. Wind energy helps in reduction of these effects as it produces wry insignificant carbon dioxide to the environment. Form the data by the international panel on the climate change (Nelson, Vaughn 2013). Solar energy produces about 0.07 to 0.2 pounds of carbon dioxide, geothermal produces about 0.1 to 0.2, hydroelectric produces about 0.2 to 0.6, while wind energy being the favorite produces about 0.001 to 0.03 pounds of carbon dioxide (Jard, G., et al 2013). This is little to harm the atmosphere. How does wind energy relate to people’s health and the environment at large?. Wind energy in its production does not require any primary input like water in order to produce it unlike hydroelectric energy (Twidell, John, 2015). This ensures there is no competition with the already little resources available to the environment. Wind energy does not emit any harmful gasses to the environment unlike the energy sources like the geothermal which emits little air pollutants in its production (Khare, Vikas, et al, 2013). Is renewable energy a wide and inexhaustible source of energy?. The strong winds across the world especially in countries that are bordering the seas and oceans provide a good source for wind energy production (Jard, G., et al 2013) . This type of energy does not deplete as there is no primary input required in its production which makes it more reliable and easily accessible. Wind energy also requires little technological constraints in setting up the necessary facilities needed in its production. This type of energy if well utilized and initiated in the society across the world can be of greater support especially in electricity requirement. Wind energy as a renewable source of energy has many economic benefits. These include the creation of a positive attitude towards the industrialization sector. It encourages investors in the industrial sector as it is the cheapest source of energy and it is easily available and reliable (Jinqian, Chong, 2015). Investors aim at improving their profit margin, this can only be realized through subsidization on the factors of production electricity being the primary one. The result of this is improvement in the living standards of the people as the jobs will be readily available due to increase in investments. This energy helps the local governments to collect taxes and other property fees which increase their revenues in result improving the infrastructure in favor of the local people (Nelson, Vaughn 2013) . This therefore improves the country’s economy as it keeps the circulation of money in the economy. It also reduces on exportation of non renewable energy like coal from the countries thus reducing overdependence among countries. Wind as a source of energy ensures stable prices of energy in the country( Cardeners, Roberto, et al 2013). The high production of wind energy ensures that there is continuous flow of energy across the country as it is a renewable source of energy which makes it more advantageous. The technology required in the production of wind energy is cost friendly and are predicted to further decrease, this makes it more admirable source of energy to be ventured into (Cardeners, Roberto, et al 2013) . The facilities in production of the wind energy ones invested through construction are easy to maintain and they consequently run at a very low prices, this makes the prices of wind energy to be low and as a result the prices of energy across the board are stable as there exist a market competition with this type of renewable energy which is relatively low. Hence increase in production of wind energy can protect the consumers when the prices of other sources of energy rise. Wind energy is also reliable and resilient source. This form of energy is widely distributed across a large area base. The distribution is to be in a way that there will be any turbines across a given area, this ensures that a severe weather event like storm in a given station do not affect the provision of energy as other turbines still will produce energy (Guang Shi, Victor, et al, 2012). This makes it a more reliable source of energy. Compared to hydroelectric energy which relies on water for energy production, a severe drought will lead to scarcity of energy while wind energy will still survive in this kind of extreme weather conditions. In addition to the many advantages realized, wind energy is mostly located in the rural areas. This is where the best terrain for wind can be found due to hilly and forest available. This adds to the economic prosperity of a given country as it develops the rural areas. It ensures continuous flow of income to people in such areas. It also ensures the lightening up of rural areas due to availability of energy. The wind turbines occupy a very little space leaving enough space for construction of houses to the local people and also enough for agricultural activities to the local farmers. This type renewable energy has been deemed to be beneficial towards delocalization of industries in the country. Many industries are able to establish their branches in the rural areas, thus increasing employment in these areas. Such industries are able to also benefit from the advantages of delocalization such as the closeness to the readily available resources (Cardeners, Roberto, et al 2013). In establishing the production system of this type of energy source, it requires various personnel. There is need for the planners to establish the stations where such instruments can be placed to produce enough energy; this is usually done by the project analysis experts ( Vasile, Burja, 2014) . The project also involves experts in the manufacturing industries who take charge of ensuring availability wind turbines. This is beneficial as it provides jobs to various expatriates who participate in ensuring the success of the project; it also leads to high value creation as it takes place at every level from the manufacturing of the wind turbines to the end process of production of final energy (Lang, corey, et al, 2014). In terms of production, wind energy is cheaper in cost production as it does not require many experts in production process unlike other non renewable sources of energy. Conclusion. From the study, it can be seen that the economic, social, and health benefits of renewable energy are the cause of increasing adoption of this type of energy sources across the globe (Vasile, Burja, 2014). This type of energy especially as we have seen in the most advantageous wind energy, has the potential of increasing the incomes of people, increasing the number of jobs available in the job market by a significant amount, maintaining the stability of balance of trade for countries, and above all ensuring present and future industrial development (Lang, corey, et al, 2014). However it should be noted that for this type of energy to thrive, there should enough study on the best and applicable source of renewable energy. There should also be world policies set to ensure that these source of is incorporated with all countries in order to reduce the effects caused by continuous use of renewable energy (Jard, G., et al 2013). The study presents a variety of sources of renewable energy among them solar energy, wind energy, hydroelectric power, and geothermal which widely adopted by countries all across the globe (Min, Hokey, 2012). Among the four presented, wind energy is emerging to being the best source of renewable energy. This can be seen through the many advantages being enjoyed by wind energy from its accessibility to its use. Wind energy is seen to more environmental friendly in comparison to others like hydroelectric energy source since it does not compete with humans for their natural resources like water in its production (Jard, G., et al 2013) . Wind energy is also deemed to be producing very minimum pounds of carbon dioxide unlike the other sources. This leaves it to be undoubtedly the best source of energy. Renewable energy is predicted to be the hub for economic prosperity of countries. This is true in relation to the wide access of renewable energy which encourages industrialization and as result to economic prosperity (De Jong, P., et al 2013). It is therefore important for developing and developed countries to shift from non renewable to renewable sources of energy to improve their economy and most important to care for the environment for future generation.
