Golgi complex: Cells produce a large size of various macromolecules. The Golgi complex is integral in, sorting, modifying and packaging these molecules for cell secretion. Endoplasmic reticulum: Involved in the manufacture and preparation of cellular protein that either requires to be concealed from the cell or exist in one of the cells covering. Close to the nuclear membrane, the endoplasmic reticulum (or ER), has the apparatus to help complex membrane proteins get the right shape and it can start the addition of sugars and other molecules to proteins.
The eukaryotic endoplasmic reticulum is either smooth or rough. The difference is that rough E.R has on its outer surface, which functions in translating the mRNAs that code for secreted and membrane proteins and putting the newly manufactured proteins into the ER during conversion (Kumar and Stephen, 248). Vacuole: An organelle plays no role in the cell. Chloroplast: Responsible in the food making process Chromosome: is paired in shape Cell wall: There is no cell wall Motility: Use of pseudopodia Reproduction: Asexual through binary fission, while sexual reproduction is through spores Metabolism: Carbon source involves the use of carbon dioxide Energy source: Is obtained from organic compounds Nutrition process: Photoautotroph
