According to Vitruvius, 1999, the role of architects is to serve people. Over the centuries, architecture, one of the oldest professions has provided peoples need with the act of creating space (Vitruvius, 1999). In fact, architecture was referred to as the art of creating space and has met people's need for spaces in regards to aesthetic, static, financial, and climatic concerns. With time, changes in living conditions, socio-economic and building materials techniques, and design have made architecture to become more complex and complicated than ever before.

Architecture is closely related to art. Art is a significant constitution of architecture due to concerns about aesthetic and pleasantness derived from geometry, proportion, formal composition, shapes, and etcetera. Architecture is not purely that or the other; it is a mix of both. Architecture is the artistic way of designing buildings and developing cities. It has a concept and vision to create an artistic fabric of a building or an outstanding building that considered being a masterpiece. Architects employ artistic strategies even in technical and scientific issues to make architectural products.

For example, Piet Mondrian used various elements of art such as color, form geometry as well as shape to produce his works.  The artist was able to achieve this trend, by considering different views in the composition of the materials. Music is a significant component of art. Schopenhauer, a philosopher said that music is the highest level of art because every art has an element of music.  In fact, all art continually aspires toward the condition of music. People consider music as something that all forms of arts try to merge, however, music is a form of art where subject and form exist as one concept (Lütkemeier, 2001, p.170). Music is not only the most important element of art but also the most influential one on architecture.
