1. When reading about grooming among primate groups, I immediately thought of some of my experiences exercising at a gym. I have had numerous occasions where I helped spot someone on a lift, or worked in on a machine with a stranger. Many of these instances resulted in a sort of friendship being formed, all because we cooperated and formed a sort of bond in helping one another out. Our textbook described the grooming actions of primates to act as a bonding activity, usually leading to further cooperation with survival and food.
