When reading about grooming among primate groups, I immediately thought of some of my experiences exercising at a gym.  I have had numerous occasions where I helped spot someone on a lift or worked in on a machine with a stranger.  Many of these instances resulted in a sort of friendship being formed, all because we cooperated and formed a sort of bond in helping one another out.  Our textbook described the grooming actions of primates to act as a bonding activity, usually leading to further cooperation with survival and food.

Although our extremely complex human society doesn't rely so ruggedly on basic tasks such as daily food accumulation and protection from predators, we do still form bonds with one another to help navigate the intricacies of society.  My "grooming" actions with others at the gym have to lead to friendships and acquaintances, improving my overall health and well-being, and in a way helps to unify others and me. I personally think the friendship between different people is created after an encounter where two people, though unknown to one another help each other accomplish a certain task or achieve the desired goal.

Thus, the grooming actions of primates act as a bond between two people and I think this helps them to cooperate with each other and rely on one another in different situations. I have often noticed that the bond that is created through friendship is often stronger than biological links. In most cases, friends confide in each other and each part is keen to learn from the other part since there are no strings attached in this friendship. People often fail to confide in each other as a result of the gap that exists depending on the nature of the relationship such as parent to child or subordinate versus superior in the workplace.

Such kind of relationship is characterized by a line of authority that can restrain the bond that exists between the parties involved. However, I believe that friendship created through an encounter of two unknown people is strong and it unifies the parties involved. 1. Whilst major strides have been made to improve the healthcare of Americans in different sectors, there are some aspects that I disagree with presented in the given article. Indeed major improvements have been made in the healthcare such invention of different types of medicines to cure different types of disease.

Improved food has also led to improved healthcare in America. However, I disagree with the point that even people with obesity can live longer lives. The problem of obesity in America is widespread and it is a cause for concern since it negatively impacts on the health of those affected. Obesity can cause diseases such as heart attack and these can cause sudden deaths. Therefore, it is not guaranteed that obese people can live longer since they can also face the same fate of premature death. 2.

Different body parts grow at different rate mainly due to their function. For instance, the brain is the central organ that controls all the functions of the other body parts. Therefore, it grows faster than any other body part since it is the engine that drives the body. The teeth also grow faster than other body parts since they are used for chewing food which in turn nourishes the body to grow. Other body parts gradually grow as humans pass different stages of growth.
