Communal practitioners propagate religious values to the group of people. Ecclesiastical practitioners are those who practice religion with a proper hierarchical structure. Catholic Church can be considered as an example of these practitioners.

People living in these areas think they have learnt a lot from different civilizations with which they have interacted. The architecture of the colonial regions reflects the adoption of English or French design in the construction. Sociologists think that the interaction of two different civilizations has brought positive results for the overall development of positive culture in society. Instead of becoming the victim of ethnocentrism, it is better to accept the differences and learn the positive aspects of each other’s culture.

Animism is a concept which suggests that physical entities have a spiritual sense. Physical entities include animals, plants and virtually all material objects. Specifically, the term is used in the anthropology of religion. It reflects the belief of some indigenous people of different tribes. These tribes are supposed to be living before the infiltration of colonialism. The term is considered an anthropological construct rather than a concept developed by the people.
