Article Report: “Review: ‘The King and I,’ Back on Broadway” Article Report Ben Brantley’s article “Review: ‘The King and I,’ Back on Broadway”, analyzes a performance of the 1951 musical ‘The King and I’. Brantley explores the revival of the musical at the Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center. The article comments on the musical and lists both its advantages and shortcomings in a way that it does not irritate a reader or create any bias. I learnt something from the article that I never knew before.

The musical has a theme of political correctness that is relevant in the contemporary society. My opinion in the actual writing in the article is that it is relevant in several ways. In the end of the writing, it is evident that the narrator attended the event because of the vivid descriptions. The article is well written through a tonal variation that can make one try to catch a glimpse of the musical. The use of language is remarkable in terms of content and relationship to the plot. I liked this particular article because the author describes the tragic, yet comical, musical in a subtle way that provides a nearly firsthand experience of the plot.

The article has fluency in presentation because it defines each character and their roles, including the subordinate actors, who it vividly characterizes as important in the plot. The article led me to find more about the topic‘The King and I’ and the storyline that defines its twisted plot. It provides a detailed description of the stage in a theatrical manner that depicts a well-orchestrated stage performance. The article addresses the topic well enough. It provides a vivid description of the event and addresses all the intricate elements that constitute its presentation.
