S/he can understand what the artist is trying to convey through the image. Horowitz explains that looking at art can nourish us and enliven us.

Art has a function of converting various messages and meaning through its characteristics, It conveys messages in sexual and social roles. It also presents a problem to the world when an onlooker encounters it for the first time. If a person looks at an image of a child as above one can connect with it and establish a relationship with it.

The above-displayed image by Howaritz has the function of displaying innocence and the playfulness of nature. A photo or image of a child has the function of portraying playfulness and energy. It spreads innocence to the observer and can deliver the message of openmindedness immediately and strongly. A child also depicts the lightness of mind, soul and body.
