Introduction The scenario of development, implementation and utilization process of several advanced technological processes and tools have changed slowly and gradually right after the Second World War due to globalization and technological advancements. Several organizations tried to produce and offer differentiated and advanced technological products and services in order to meet the growing market demand and satisfaction level of the target customers. On the other hand, the demand for these products and services started to increase at a constant rate among the people around the globe. Recently, people cannot imagine daily life activities without the consideration of the utilization and implementation of advanced technological instruments or tools as these help people to satisfy their comfort level quite easily. This research paper will discuss on the following developed thesis statement. Thesis Statement “Whether high-tech instruments and tools could promote effective interpersonal communication or impede the communication process”. Analysis It is highly important for the researcher to determine and identify the impact of the high-tech communication tools or instruments in the communication process. This analysis part has considered point of views by the stakeholders who have provided information on this topic. According to several authors or literatures, there are several advantages and disadvantages of these instruments on people and the communication process between them. This analysis part will discuss about the advantages and disadvantages of advanced technology in communication process. Advantages It is true that management of several business organizations as well as several individuals in their daily lived consider the utilization and implementation of advanced technology in order to enhance effective interpersonal communication processes. It is true that, modern science and advanced technology has eased the interpersonal communication process between two or more than two individuals. Mobile Phones, internet, social media networks and e-mails can be considered as several popular and important communication tools and processes in this 21st century that have emerged due to the globalization and implementation of advanced technology in the business world and day-to-day life activities (Schmidt 69). First of all, management of several business organizations used to consider these options within the organization in order to enhance the communication process between the employees and management of the organization or between the employees of several departments within an organization. It actually helps to enhance effective data transfer process within the organization. Most importantly, people can be communicated anywhere and anytime through the help of advanced technological communication devices. The corporate culture of several organizations is changing significantly due to the emergence of technological environment around the globe. These advanced technological communication tools and instruments are being used industrially, personally and globally. Several individuals generally use high-speed broadband service, internet service and smart phones in order to enhance their interpersonal communication process with other individuals. Previously, it used to take long time for an individual to communicate with relatives or friends who used to stay in different regions in this world. But, emergence of globalization and advanced technology helped people to communicate with friends, relatives or colleagues at any place and at any point of time (Murray 301). Therefore, it can be stated that the advanced technological communication tool has eased the interpersonal communication process between the individuals. Disadvantages There are several scientists and authors too who have stated that the advanced technological communication tools have negative impact on people. According to several literatures, advanced technological communication tools and processes generally violates the sustainability of human lived and environment. It is true that the emergence of social media networks and internet influence several kids and teenagers or young adults to become the users of several social media networks. It is actually affecting the personality and attitude of the kids and teenagers. Too much use of Facebook and You Tube destruct the concentration of the young kids. In addition to this, violence in several movies and videos can create a negative attitude and personality in a young kid or a teen ager. It actually affects the sustainability in a community or a society. Writing skills and face to face co0mmunication skills are considered as most important and traditional communication approach that defines attitude and personality of an individual. Therefore, it is highly important for each and every individual to maintain these aspects in daily life. But, emergence of advanced technology is affecting these aspects. It has been already discussed that too much internet or Smartphone suaveness can affect the sustainability of a society. In addition to this, it can affect good health of human beings. Now-a-days, number of Smartphone and normal mobile phone users has increased significantly. Too much communication through smart phones or mobile phones can create hearing problems. In addition to this, too much use of social media networks and internet can create eye problems. These types of diseases are increasing at a rapid pace due to the emergence of advanced technology. Havoc use of advanced technological tools can affect the environmental sustainability too. Effective mobile phone network requires high frequency that can enhance effective and conflict free communication between several individuals. This high frequency network has several negative impacts on environment. First of all, it affects the ecological balance within the environment. “The number of sparrows and other birds is decreasing rapidly due to this high mobile network frequency” (Solway 43). These birds cannot bear the rawness of this strong mobile network frequency. It causes the death of these birds. Like this way, several species of birds are getting abolished day-by-day due to the emergence of advanced technological communication tools and processes. Apart from all these things, top level management executives of several business organizations are also suffering from the havoc utilization and implementation of advanced technological communication processes in the business operation processes (Cole 75). Too much advancement may lead to loss of important data and information. In addition to this, use of social media networks within the organizations can affect the concentration of the employees as it can violate the organization’s rules and regulations. In addition to this, it can affect the corporate and organizational culture of the organization as it hampers the discipline within the departments of the organization. It is clear from above mentioned facts and aspects that the advanced technological tools and processes have both positive and negative impact on the interpersonal communication processes that are occurred between several individuals (Waterhouse 278). In some cases, it brings pace and effectiveness within the interpersonal communication process among the individuals. On the other hand, these advanced technological communication tools and processes have several negative impacts on both human life and environmental sustainability. Conclusion It is clear from above analysis that people used to consider advanced technological communication tools, devices and processes in daily life in order to enhance the comfort level. Several organizations are offering advanced communication devices and mediums for people to meet the market demand and satisfaction level of people. These tools have both positive and negative impacts on the interpersonal communication processes that are occurred within the individuals. On the other hand, several critiques have criticized the negative impacts of these advanced technological processes on the interpersonal communication process. Therefore, it can be conclusively stated that each and every individual should be concerned about both the advantages and disadvantages of advanced technological communication tools on the interpersonal communication process. It is true that people can enjoy the advantages for a short-term time period. But, it is also important for human beings to stay safe and lead sustainable life for a long-term time period.
